I blame three groups for this. The FIA, for making loads of fucking silly rule changes without thinking them through. Michelin, for causing the problem. The Michelin teams, for refusing to accept any of the solutions offered to them. I don't blame Ferrari for making a stand. Why should the rules be changed to accommodate teams just because their equipment isn't working properly? I love F1, but if they get chucked out of the USA it serves them bloody well right. Perhaps they'll stop acting like a bunch of petulant schoolkids now. Fat chance.

As the only drawback the place has won't apply to you, you've picked a winner. If I were in your situation, it'd be near the top of my list.

Just booked onto EVA's maiden 777 flight from LHR in September. Premium Laurel Class (better than Business), 61 inch seat pitch, 170 degree seat recline, 10.5 inch video screen and all for £888. Gotta be the best deal going.

In the case of the Dusit, it depended who was on the desk. I think in theory it should have been 1000 baht per guest, but more times than not there was no extra charge for more than one.

I guess this depends on whether your booking is based on room or people. If you've booked a room, then I reckon it's up to you who stays in it and the hotel has got no right to charge a joiner fee. If, on the other hand, you booked a room for one person with no single supplement then I don't see how you can complain if you get charged. I did this at the Dusit a couple of times, and even with the 1000 baht joiner fee, it was still a bloody sight cheaper than booking the room for two people. be seeing you monkeyman
