Tried the Sabai Wing once and will be going again shortly. The rooms are definitely preferable to Sabai Lodge though perhaps a little pricey. I go for the Sunset rooms which are a little bigger than the standard ones, have an extra window and a larger balcony. Recommended.

Not uncommon for them to ask for credit card details to protect them against a no-show. Asking for the three digit code as well is a little OTT IMHO.

I blame three groups for this. The FIA, for making loads of fucking silly rule changes without thinking them through. Michelin, for causing the problem. The Michelin teams, for refusing to accept any of the solutions offered to them. I don't blame Ferrari for making a stand. Why should the rules be changed to accommodate teams just because their equipment isn't working properly? I love F1, but if they get chucked out of the USA it serves them bloody well right. Perhaps they'll stop acting like a bunch of petulant schoolkids now. Fat chance.

As the only drawback the place has won't apply to you, you've picked a winner. If I were in your situation, it'd be near the top of my list.

Just booked onto EVA's maiden 777 flight from LHR in September. Premium Laurel Class (better than Business), 61 inch seat pitch, 170 degree seat recline, 10.5 inch video screen and all for £888. Gotta be the best deal going.

The reception for Sabai Wing is actually in Soi 1, so it's best to go there and save yourself a walk from the main reception.
