All seven Michelin teams have now been summoned to appear before the FIA to face six charges apiece of what amounts to bringing the sport into disrepute. Question is, what action will be taken against them? How about banning them for a race? Er no, maybe not a good idea. And I still haven't figured out why the crowd were hurling beer cans at the only drivers who DID put on a race for them. One more thought. If that chicane had been built and a serious accident had happened there, where would that have left the guys who built it? The sharp end of a BIG lawsuit, methinks. be seei

Got a top hat I can wear to make up the distance? -
I blame three groups for this. The FIA, for making loads of fucking silly rule changes without thinking them through. Michelin, for causing the problem. The Michelin teams, for refusing to accept any of the solutions offered to them. I don't blame Ferrari for making a stand. Why should the rules be changed to accommodate teams just because their equipment isn't working properly? I love F1, but if they get chucked out of the USA it serves them bloody well right. Perhaps they'll stop acting like a bunch of petulant schoolkids now. Fat chance.

As the only drawback the place has won't apply to you, you've picked a winner. If I were in your situation, it'd be near the top of my list.

Just booked onto EVA's maiden 777 flight from LHR in September. Premium Laurel Class (better than Business), 61 inch seat pitch, 170 degree seat recline, 10.5 inch video screen and all for £888. Gotta be the best deal going.

Well, your posts on this subject are very concise and to the point, but I think they're a little bit samey. And I think your photography needs a little work too. The only bit of the nurses I can see is the Red Cross.

Anybody checked out the flight times? -
The reception for Sabai Wing is actually in Soi 1, so it's best to go there and save yourself a walk from the main reception.

Here you are. I found the answer in the very next topic. The post read thus: "Beware of those 200 baht watches they sell at BigC. Bought a Diesel copy six months ago and the wrist band breaks while walking out of the store. Ok, cheap watch, no band, no problem. Buy new band. Then the face falls off." So now you all know what losing face is. No, it's OK, no need to thank me.

Oh, I think someone thought it out VERY well.

Very well put. Respect, dignity, whatever you want to call it. They just have a different take on it.

Gone to soldiers, every one? -
I'd start looking round about July for a September flight.

Keep an eye on WestEast Travel. If you wait for their special offers for the month you want to travel it shouldn't cost much over £300 for a decent airline.

I reckon he should keep out of Pattaya and stick to Star Wars.

Day off??? Is there no end to the capitalist decadence destroying the country's traditional and much cherished values??????
-
Yep.

I wouldn't want to choose either of them, but if I had to then it'd be the Siam Bayview for sure.

Just for the record, Pete doesn't write Nightmarch, he just posts it here for the benefit of the boardies. It's actually part of Asiabugle, which also covers BKK and other areas of LOS. The value of this service provided by Pete has increased considerably as Asiabugle is no longer available to Hotmail users. See my thread in The Members Bar if you want to know more. be seeing you monkeyman

In the case of the Dusit, it depended who was on the desk. I think in theory it should have been 1000 baht per guest, but more times than not there was no extra charge for more than one.
