  1. Unfortunately, no room safes. If you book through Scandibar, you get the members rate of 990 baht without having to take out the membership. And a free beer at the Scandinavian Bar every day. be seeing you monkeyman
  2. I wouldn't bother. Most people only take them for an alibi anyway.
  3. My idea of a Pattaya marathon's 13 pints and a dozen TG's.
  4. Thanks guys. Much appreciated. I think I 'll give the new wing a try. be seeing you monkeyman
  5. I thought I'd give this place a try as they seem to restaging World War 1 on Soi 13 where I was planning to stay. Need a bit of info though from anyone who's stayed there recently. Is there any construction noise from the new wing or has it past that stage? The "new" rooms are supposed to be the best. Which ones are they? Which rooms have twin beds pushed together to make a double, so I can avoid them? All info gratefully received. be seeing you monkeyman
  6. Rats. Looks like the planned stay at Sandy Spring in September's going to need a change of location. How dare they dig the place up when I want to go on holiday. Bastards.
  7. bongojona I think maybe your lenses are too dark already buddy.
  8. Try booking through Erik at the Scandinavian Bar. You'll get a free beer every day as well.
  9. I stayed at Sandy Spring in March and didn't pay anything until I checked out. Who did you make the booking with?
  10. I don't give a shit how much they cost as long as they build them QUIETLY.
  11. Anybody seen the Water Buffaloes thread?
  12. I suggest you send them another e-mail and ask them how this will please all the guests who smoke.
  13. If those artists impressions are supposed to be of Soi 13, the guy must be a fuckin' surrealist.
  14. Don't you mean "the friendly family atmosphere of Pattaya City in the daytime"?
  15. You mean you were planning to pay in advance?
  16. step Question 1 - see above post. Question 2 - Yes for both. In Economy you get credited for miles travelled. In Evergreen it's miles x 1.25. You can check out the distances and airmiles credits on the Eva website and in the information you'll receive with your membership card after your first flight. be seeing you monkeyman
  17. Good point. If they don't credit you after that, make sure your name on the booking and on your Evergreen Club membership are EXACTLY the same, or their system won't pick it up. A particular problem can be if you have your middle name on your membership but not on your booking. If there's a problem with this, call Eva and get them to amend your membership details. be seeing you monkeyman
  18. I notice it didn't mention the 10,000 previous owners....
  19. Monkeyman does not look good in widescreen format. How do I get back to a square avatar?
  20. Sandy Spring fits the bill OK except for the big shower/bath, at least in the regular rooms. Don't know about the suites, but they're well out of the price bracket anyway. be seeing you monkeyman :)
  21. Verdict. Not Guilty. You may leave this thread without a blemish on your character. be seeing you monkeyman
  22. OH SHIT!! A PLANE SPOTTER!!!
  23. Well I think it's every bit as good as their TV.
  24. You got it. So look out for monkeyman's new low fat thread - spreads straight from the fridge.
