My current favourite is Sabai Lodge, for its location and because the way it's laid out makes it feel more like your own place than a regular hotel.

If you're on or in the baht bus Beach Road/2nd Road circle it doesn't really matter about location from a distance point of view as the action won't be more than a few minutes ride away wherever you are.

I've booked a Deluxe Sunset room in the new Sabai Wing for 1750 baht, and there are two classes of room in the same wing even cheaper than that.

Bigger seats, more leg room, much more recline on the seat backs, footrests, individual screens and choice of movies. And, best of all, you don't have to mix with the riff raff in cattle class. be seeing you monkeysnob

I stayed at Sabai Lodge in September, and at that time the new wing was looking like little more than an empty shell.

As a fairly recent convert to Evergreen Deluxe, I've now got enough air miles for an upgrade on my next trip. Do you have to book your flight through EVA to use them, or can other agents accept them too? be seeing you monkeyman
