Got it handled all... Thanks for the replies! Glyn, I actually did not know that.... Either piece of it. I have tried to find it here, but no go. The latest thing I tried was something called psuedoephedrine sulphate - at 500 baht for 10 pills. The last 2 (actifed and something else) did not work. Friggin crazy. Its only for a couple months of the year... but i dont remember it being this bad last year. Tho that might have something to do with just running out of meds lol. Frosty

I have seasonal allergies, and they are kicking my ass something fierce. I need someone thats coming over soon to bring me a huge bottle of Benadryl, if possible. Or even the walmart generic version. They come in bottles of 100 25mg caplets... One would be good, 2 would be better (understand if you dont want to carry 2 tho). If anyone is coming soon and doesn't mind, PLEASE let me know. Will reimburse you and buy ya several drinks for your trouble. You will be saving my life! (or at least easing it considerably). And before anyone asks, no you can not get it here, and the last 3 br

A bar lady and 13000 baht
frostfire replied to THE DRUNKEN DUCK's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
That's the problem with stereotypes. The minute you try to apply one to everyone... you become a racist. -
Just remember... You get what you pay for. 500b is not all that much for a good thanksgiving dinner. Some places charge 1000 or more. Never had the one at Tigglebitties, but if their other food is an indicator, it should be WELL worth the extra 200 baht, imho.

November Golf Festival 2010
frostfire replied to doghaus's topic in RideHer Cup Planning and Discussion
I just deposited a dozen DVDs of the Babydolls and FLB golf events with the lovely cashiers at FLB bar. If anyone who attended either event wants one they are there to be picked up free of charge. Last year I charged 100 baht which funded the DVDs....and since I have plenty left from last year they are free this year. If they run out I will have more there the next night or can deliver to FLB or Babydolls on demand. Was a great year and for many good photos. Frosty -
Yes they do.

Hay all, As some of you long time members may remember, I made about 18 videos of the band a couple years ago and put them on Youtube. They are still there, but the band has gotten much better with age. I was unable to post new videos however as the video and audio editing software I use did not work with Windows 7... That has been fixed, and I will be processing my stock of old video over the next couple weeks to add to the collection. I will also be taking new video later this month in true HD with the help of Barrief (and his new low light pro camera =P), and will be posting them later

From the Pattaya "1 post" expert 12k for a 3bed 2 bath is not a great deal maybe, but its not a poor one either. Would depend on several factors, like security etc. Can you post some pics Flash?

The accuracy is most assuredly not in question lol. never had one do that to me (well, not when giving a BJ), but I have had them answer the phone half way thru lol. Frosty

LOL. Classic. The girls at Bliss do it better tho next time tho... when your photoshopping, be sure to clean up that pixelation where the 2 photos edge up. This was funny when I thought it was real lol.

That would be a good use for it... Except that I get billed for my phone now, since I have unlimited internet :/ More expensive, but dont have to deal with those damn scratch cards lol.

Ok, So... As a kid I always had a little piggy bank - one of those old school ceramic ones that took forever to get anything out of it without breaking it... you remember the type, the ones where you had to poke a butter knife up thru the slit to get the money out (or break it). I remember always putting my change in that little bank and emptying it when no more would fit.. was a good time as I remember. Turns out that its not just a little kid thing. I have been here now for going on 3 years, and as my old habits tend to stick with me, I always put my small money in a sock dr

Office Chair - High back + cloth (no leather)
frostfire replied to frostfire's topic in Expat Issues
A work chair is just not worth $600 - not even in America, much less in Thailand. 20k baht is not "a few dollars", even for LDOPs like me A recliner is made for lounging - not working. When I work, I sit up, not lay down. With a recliner (or that type of chair) my back would be out in a week if I tried to use my desk while in it. I have multiple monitors and input devices, so I have to be positioned just right at the desk or sitting for so long becomes uncomfortable. A recliner just wouldn't do it. That said, I wish I could work out of a nice lazyboy lol. Would be fun -

$600 for a recliner is acceptable... but not for an office chair. Apples and oranges
