New pattayatalk link not working
frostfire replied to short's topic in Technical problems or questions.
Even if this GUY manages to get control of the .xxx domain, there will be no requirement for even hardcore porn sites to use it. Because of that, most of them won't. Porn sites are all about one thing: profit. Most of them will take the minimum measures possible to keep kids from their sites as required by law, but believe me when I say that they will never embrace a system that will prevent all kids from accessing their sites when it is not required of them. They make a good amount of profit from university kids and accidental visitors. With .xxx that would not be possible, as I am su -
I use it almost daily to communicate with my clients in America. Every once in a while I get a bad connection, but most of the time its great.

When I need something expensive from the US (including a laptop once) I just order it on the internet and ship it to someone thats coming over in the next month or 2... This laptop is not worth 19k baht. Even were it new, I would not pay that much for it. You can get a new system with similar specs (maybe even better if you find a good promotion) and have someone bring it over for the cost of a few beers.

If you are a gamer, the premier is absolutely necessary. Its not the speed that counts when gaming, but the ping rate, which is MUCH better with premier. I had Pro 10mb, but my ping to almost any US server was between 1000-3500 on average. Changing to premier dropped the average to 300. Still high for a gamer, but at least playable. With the Pro, websites did not load as fast as with premier either for the most part, but downloads with Giganews/Getright actually got close to 10mb, so they were very fast.. much faster than my current premier package. Hope that helps....

Am I the only one that thought this topic was something completely different? lol. Sorry. Yes, there is a shop, but not on Sukhumvit (well, there might be one there too!).. Facino (sp?) is one of the largest pharmacy chains here... orange and green sign. They have a very large medical supply store (and pharmacy) on North Pattaya Road... if I remember right its opposite Tesco. Its been a long time since I ride up that way (while paying attention), but it used to be there and had just about everything in stock. We went in one time and they even carry nebulizers and O2 machines (m

Glitterman Speaks About 'Bollywood, here i come'.
frostfire replied to glitterman's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I wonder if this "Glitter" guy swings the same way the last one did. As I remember, it didn't turn out so well for the last one. -
I agree with most of whats said here. I only made it to lesson 5. Its worth going that far at least - will teach you how to ask for directions and understand the answers, if they are simple. After that its pretty worthless.

um... Are you saying you need this, or have it and recommend it? If you need it... let me know. I can give you a link to download it from my servers. Frosty

Glitterman SPOKE About Football.
frostfire replied to clever's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Making new account and pretending to be a 3rd party reposting this drivel is just as bad as pretending to be glitterman in the first place. -
Another thing to try. Open a command prompt (can usually type "cmd" in the "run" box when you click the start button to get there) and type the following: ipconfig /flushdns That will clear your DNS cache and force the network to reload its DNS records on each new request... May help. Frosty

Disable AVG and try again. If it works... its a AVG problem, and should be taken up with their technical support. Frosty

You had the "best shag of your life".... With another man. A man wearing lipstick and a skirt, but still a man. Yes, that is gay. That said, if its your thing, go for it. Just don't pretend that fucking another man is not gay just because he wears eye shadow and calls himself "Tina". Frosty

Mt Ttaxi has changed and has a website
frostfire replied to backdoorboy's topic in Transport in Thailand
No luck for you. Nobody can verify this is Mr. T. He did not answer email... big surprise. He likely sold out to a different firm since he cannot work, which means this is NOT his website. So... go troll somewhere. Frosty -

Still waiting on a email from Mr T... and I forgot about the thread after I found out who the OP is. He's an ex/current troll and not worth any more of my time, IMHO. Would never use a website recommended by him for any reason. Mr T has not replied... so I assume he is out of the picture, which will mean this is likely not his website. He may have sold to another company, who knows... Frosty -
No, not at all. I think maybe you are getting bad info on what that list actually is. Its not a "We will never let you use ATM's in these countries" list, but rather a list that, if the country you visit is on it, you will need to contact your bank and let them know to unlock your card for that country, if you take my meaning. Thats what it was for mine... When I first got here, my very first trip, my cards did not work. I called the bank and got the usual run around for about 5 minutes, but the debit card department (different number) told me that all will work now and how long will I

Did they say why it was blocked in Thailand? Mine was originally, but they were able to unlock it for Thailand with a simple phone call... and its worked fine since (but is having problems for 2 weeks now on a unrelated issue - at least I think unrelated lol) Frosty

No email back yet either... tho I saw on another thread that he may not be answering emails anymore since he is injured... Not sure. My guess is that this company is not related to Mr. T, but maybe bought his email and or contacts when he was injured to try to get his customers. If so... then I would shy away from the company for not just admitting that to begin with :) Frosty -

frostfire replied to backdoorboy's topic in Transport in Thailand
It has been mentioned here.. but no clear answer was given. Apparently Mr T is unable to work... an accident of some sort, but without an answer from his email saying this is his... then its someone trying to play themselves off as him, which is pretty crappy... will update as soon as (and if) I get a answer back from mr T. Mt Ttaxi has changed and has a website
frostfire replied to backdoorboy's topic in Transport in Thailand
Already did actually, but I didn't ask him for a quote, I asked him to confirm that this is his website, not a 3rd party that books him at a elevated rate. We get all sorts of people linking fake websites on here... most of them fake. If this pans out, I will post here, and appologize... if not, I will make sure its deleted. Simple :) Frosty -

Funny, the phone numbers are not the ones I have for Mr.T And thats your first post... methinks SCAM. Guys, I would give this website a pass until we can confirm if it really is Mr.T. If it's not, then some enterprising BM is trying to hustle up some new customers using Mr.T's name - not a good way to start a business. Frosty -
It is... But then, its Stinky. Nothing at all to do with anything electrical.

Protecting your backup data from prying TGF

Well, no... but I just found a version of FolderLock on giganews that seems ok. The crack instructions say you must manually block the app from "phoning home" to check registration using your firewall... easy enough to do, assuming you are using a firewall of some kind in vista? Just block the app's internet access after you install (install with your internet turned off, of course). If you want it, I will email it to you... its fairly small, and I already scanned it for viruses. Frosty
