Durex condoms crap here lately.
lovedog100 replied to Usexpat's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Another option: There are always board members coming to Pattaya. Contact one, and ask them to bring you some. -
Yes Spunky, you have shamed me into submission. Should I decide to reply, I would feel compelled to also give instructions on spelling, and the use of Capitol letters, coma's, apostrophes, and periods. More work than I care to do for the ramblings of someone that I really don't care about, or his opinions. For a lot less effort, I could debate Joekicker, at least his replies would be intelligent, readable, and with out all the childish cartoons.

I just checked, 8 3/4" or 20 cm in the last 22 hours. In perspective, Pattaya's average rain fall for October is 9 1/2" or 24cm.

Try this place. Shipping wasn't to bad. I order 100 at a time, and they send me a $10 coupon for the next order, which just about covers shipping. http://www.undercovercondoms.com/ One of the best things is, they have customer reviews of all the condoms. Check out and try the female condom. It's like barebacking. -
Why hasn't Rightsaid jumped in and give us the insiders view? With TQ2 gone, Soi BJ will need to be renamed to food cart alley.
-
The question was, what was missing from Soi LK. Personally, I kinda like hanging out with Americans, Canadians, and Australians. As for heaven above, I have got a lot more attention the last couple of times that I have been in. Even when I didn't, I never denied that they have a very nice line up. I would say that if you took the two nicest girls out of each of the LK gogo, you still wouldn't have the line up that Heaven Above has, and most of them are topless, or naked. No so on LK.

Now to Meet Non-P4P Thai Girls
lovedog100 replied to Little John's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
The OP stated that he is a newbie. Maybe he is sticking to what he knows. What works for him at home. It could be that he wants a wife, or long term girlfriend, That may change after a few days in Pattaya -
Well you are right, I look less like Brad Pitt, than you do Brad's shit. However the baht in my pocket usually pulls me through. I'll answer your question though. Soi LK has no decent food, no live music, no freelancers, or air-con bars. No braless Russian girls walking by. No Americans, Canadians, or Australians. Not one of the gogo's is as big as Misty's, as fun as Babydolls, or as runty as Xzone or Windmill. If we were to pick any one of Misty's, Sapphire, Heaven Above, Roxy, Peppermint, Silver star there would be more stunners in any one of them, than all of Soi LK, there would also be more topless ladies than all of Soi LK, not to mention more fully naked ladies than all of Soi LK. Should I even mention the amount of attention that a man would receive in any one of them, compared to all of Soi LK? While Martin mentioned Sugar Sugar, I don't consider it a gogo, but more of a Club Blue without windows, where fun, and entertainment is dished out in minute quantities, along with a large check bins. Since they are both owned by the same people, we couldn't really expect any different. You mentioned one of the new gogo's being owned by the same people as Kiss, that's the gogo where the average age is even higher than TQ, or the now defunct TQ2. If the girl you want, won't barfine, you can have her mother, because she works there too. LK is not on the Beach Road, Second Road Baht Bus run. We have to pay 100 baht or more to get there, then again again going back. It is convenient for the the Cheap Charley retired expat that lives in the Soi Bukaow area. Although they will pay the same price for a San Miguel, Breezer, or Rum and Coke as a walking street gogo. Let's not mention that their rent is a fraction of walking street, by the signs, Soi LK pays the ladies much less, and they pay the same price for their alcohol as walking street. Nice that somebody is making a good profit off of us. The only good thing I can say about Soi LK is, once you get bored to tears, you can walk to Oasis agogo, or Buffalo Bar from there. I can however see why you would push Soi LK. After all, you own part of a bar and guest house there. In reality though, men going from gogo to gogo are not going to spill out and go into a non air-con open bar that has no ladies available, or even other customers to talk to. You should look into hyping your own bar on it's own merits. Not the Soi. Even if that means coming up with some marketable merits. I would have pulled some punches and not been so honest and blunt, except that you don't. You have to expect to get the same as you give. So, go ahead, put me to shame !!
-
Yes, it's the place to be, if you don't mind average looking girls, and gogo's where most of the ladies aren't topless, much less naked. At lest you don't have to walk through crowds of people to get to them.

I'm not sure that is a good analogy, I avoid crossing Sukhumvit when ever possible. I can see it's extremely dangerous. I have to wonder though, if you crossed Sukhumvit several times a week, and there was a vaccine that would keep you safe while crossing,,, would you take it?
-
Well, it looks like Rick Perry was not only protecting girls, but men as well, with his vaccination program. Bachmann: “I’m offended for all the little girls and parents who didn’t have a choice.” It appears that we should have a choice to take the risk of cancer, when there is a vaccine. It's to bad that we can't train HPV to only infect those that don't believe in a vaccine program. Read more: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0911/63329.html#ixzz1ZnqVVWZN

Now to Meet Non-P4P Thai Girls
lovedog100 replied to Little John's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
That hasn't been my experience. True, if you flirt with a girl working in a 7-11 on the dark side, she probably can't speak but a word or two of English. However, I have found Thai women that are good looking, and speak excellent English, much better than any bar girl that can't say much more than "what you name, where you from, how long you stay, I want drink, barfine." My vet is gorgeous and can speak exceptional English. The ladies in my insurance office all speak English. The cute girls in uniform in the eye glass shops speak English. Every university girl that I have ever met, speaks English, and can usually read and write even better. Many of the girls in the big department stores speak English. I've been to a couple of dentists that spoke excellent English. At the two Pattaya hospitals I have been to, most girls there speak English. Go to Central mall, and most of the shop girls speak English. In tourist areas the girls working in gold shops, and working the hotel desks speak English. If you are bring bar girls back to your hotel, girls in your own hotel aren't available to you. They don't want a butterfly man. However those working in different hotels usually are available. All the girls working in Travel agency's and at the airline desks at the airport speak English. Just about any girl that finished high school knows some English. Many don't have the opportunity to use it in their village. If you meet them, they may not remember much, or are embarrassed and shy to speak. They usually pick it back up easily once around English speakers though. Most can read and write English as well, for the most part better than they speak, because they have no one to speak to, but many things to read. Passing out business cards to non P4P girls is useless for getting them to call you. They are to shy to make the call. I passed out hundreds when I first got here and never got one phone call. The only thing they are good for is when you get a girls phone number, and give her a card, when you call her, she may not be able to remember you. If you say, "I give you card" then she remembers. But, you have to call them, they will never call you first. There are many ladies available online on the many dating web sites. Understand that same as you, they may be writing to many different men. Looking for the best, or just the one that actually shows up to meet her. Check out pictures carefully. If they have pictures taken in a bar, they are usually bar girls working the sponsor game. The biggest problem with non P4P girls is. When you get to Pattaya, it's so much easier to take a bar girl for the night. Bar girls are much easier to find. You can easily take an incredibly hot gogo girl, which makes the non P4P girl not look as good. Even though at home, you would give your eye teeth just to talk to her. Also, if you are taking bar girls while looking for a non P4P, it's very easy to be seen walking down the street with a bar girl, or sitting in a restaurant. Not just by the lady you are giving your attention to, but all of her co workers as well. With out a doubt, if you hit it off, she will have you come by her work so that she can show off her farang to co workers. -
I found it quite easy to spend 10,000 a day. I would say that my biggest expense was lady drinks. I didn't do well as saying no when ladies begged for drinks. I would also barfine 2-6 ladies a night. Feed them, party with them. It was not uncommon to buy them a new dress so that they could look good while with me.

The easiest visa you can get for a 5 month stay is the 180 day double entry visa. You will have to make a visa run to Laos. There are many places that will do everything for you, help with the paperwork, arrange transportation, a room for the night and such. I used the sportsman pub on soi 13. With the 180 day double entry visa, you can stay 90 days, then go to Jomtien for a 30 day extention giving you 120 days in country. You then have to leave the country and return. You can take a Cambodia visa run, or nicer, take the train to Malaysia. You then have 90 more days. That would be your 5 months, you can also get one more 30 day extension from Jomtien giving you 6 months. The visa places will charge you about 14,000 for the 180 day double entry visa, all inclusive, transportation, some food, and a room for the night in Vientiane. Your passport will be in the Thai embassy in the morning along with your application, and picked up the next morning. I did a TR of sorts here http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/topic/56319-double-entry-tourist-visa-required-fr-laoscambodia/page__p__914993#entry914993

I think that you may have eaten there while they were breaking in a new cook. Thai's cooks have a real disadvantage as they are cooking food that they have never seen or eaten before. Lucky for Tigglebitties, Neuy is Thai and ran a restaurant in the states for many many years. She does a good job of teaching. I went in about the same time you did and ate, my food was good, but I ordered take out taco's for Jane. When I got home, the taco's had rice and beans in them. Jane typically gives the rice and beans to Rocky, and just eats the taco's. The next morning I was in again for breakfast, when I saw Neuy I asked her why Jane had the rice and beans on her taco instead of on the side as usual. I told her that Jane wasn't happy as she doesn't like Mexican rice or beans. She explained that she was breaking in a new cook, had her make the tacos, and then said "remember to add rice and beans" while walking away. The cook having never seen mexican food before, or eaten taco's added it to the tacos. She apologized for the mistake, and said that she would bring it to the attention of the new cook. When I was finished eating and checked binned, Neuy walked up with a sack, it was taco's, with rice and beans on the side, she apologized again, and said to give it to Jane to make up for the mistake. No charge.

You asked about living in Pattaya. Did you mean staying in Pattaya on holiday? I live in Pattaya for about 100,000 baht a month. When in tourist mode, it was about 10,000 baht a day. Some days less, some more. Like others have said, what do you want to do? How good are you at saying no when the ladies start coming up to you and asking for lady drinks? Do you want to play in the gogo's, or will a beer bar do? If you take your barfine to a tourist attraction, are you going to take her three friends that she wants to go along? How much do you drink? Do you get falling over drunk, or just have a few drinks in the course of a night?

How many send or have sent ?
lovedog100 replied to Parkwahn's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Not long ago on another board there was a poll asking how much men sent the girl he was sponsoring. I was a bit shocked that 166 men had already answered the poll. That seemed like a big number of active members being sponsors, or admitting to being a sponsor. From my experience, most men keep their sponsorship a secret. They don't tell their friends, family or other mongers, even though the girls tell anyone that is Thai. I wondered while checking out the thread, how many of them were sponsoring the same lady. What would be a good idea, is for men that are sponsoring a lady to identify her, and post a pic. Those that were being sponsored by several men would be exposed that way. Of course, most men being the uncaring pricks that they are, if they saw a lady they were sponsoring posted. They would withdraw their support, and not say anything to the other man. After all they wouldn't want to publicly admit that they had been taken. -
-
Agreed. I'm not about fucking other men over, especially in Pattaya where the are so many others available. What's the point?

You can live OK for that amount. You might have to rent a motorbike instead of a car. You shouldn't need a car anyway. The 7,999 is to be able to use all 7 of Tony's gyms.

Double Entry Tourist visa required fr Laos/Cambodia
lovedog100 replied to stickyfingers's topic in Expat Issues
Sticky, I took a visa run to Lao by van. It has some good points that shouldn't be overlooked. They know what is needed, and will check your paper work before it's turned in, and make sure it's done right. We got express service going threw the border, both ways. They fed us each way, and booked a hotel, which was included. Not a great hotel, but perfectly acceptable, with breakfast included. We got to go into the Thai embassy ahead of everyone else that had been waiting in line for hours. All in all, I think that I got value for my money, even though I had to sit in a van for what seemed like forever. My trip: I was picked up in the evening, Unfortunately I was picked up last, and had to sit in the back seat. If you have any choice, sit as far up front as possible. The further back you are, the harder the ride is. It was impossible to sleep in the back row because every bump felt like a huge pot hole. Hint: stop by a green cross clinic before you go and get some Valium or some other sleeping agent. Thai's are to stupid to know that they are taking a long trip and need to fill the tank, so 40 kilometers out of town they will stop for gas for 1/2 an hour or more. When you leave there, that is the time to take your sleeping agent. Best if yo have some extra, more than likely there is a loud mouth that will talk the whole way there. Offer him something to help him sleep as well. You already know who he is. You arrive at the border in the morning, and I had to wait for it to open. We got expressed through it. Then we changed to different vans, I got a brain dead driver that I was sure was going to kill us all. Even though they always told us to get in the same van, I never rode with him again, I held my ground, refused, and let them know why. We went straight to the Thai Embassy, there was already 100 people in line, we filled out our paperwork, it was checked, and double checked. When the gates opened, we were ushered in first ahead of all those that were waiting in line. When we left we went to our hotel, the Vientiane hotel, make sure you take a card, there are several in town, telling a taxi driver the Vientiane hotel does no good. It was old but clean, with a restaurant and bar. I got my room key and went up and discovered I had two twin beds. I went back down to the desk and told them that twin beds not work, I will take lady and need big bed. Of course they didn't want to change rooms, and told me to push the two beds together. I told them that I boom boom to much, beds will come apart, I need big bed. They himed and hawed a bit telling me it was the only room available, then gave in and gave me a room with a full sized bed when they realized I wasn't going away. We had the rest of the day and night to be tourists. After putting my bag in my room I went down stairs to the bar and had a beer talking and meeting the other guys from the other vans. There must have been 6 vans full of us there. There were a couple of expats in the bar so I asked them where to go for ladies. They all recommended a bar, who's name I can't remember, it was on the river, and on the second floor, they said about midnight the ladies would start showing. A guy in my hotel wanted me to get him some Cialis so I went looking for a pharmacy as I walked around town checking out the town. I tried several with no help, then bought 5 boxes of Viagra for him at 300 baht each. Chinese made, double strength. I walked around a bit longer than hooked up with a couple of young Brits from the vans. We had lunch in a very nice restaurant at a reasonable price. They were wanting Pattaya and wanted to go on a hunt for bars and ladies. I went with them for a few hours, but it was obvious that Vientiane was not Pattaya, and they were to hard drinking for me. I went back to the hotel. A bunch of us were in there talking and drinking and made plans to go to the Bar on the river that everyone had told us about. One of the guys was a body builder and had heard of a big pharmacy that sold steroids and he wanted to go, since I had gotten my friend Viagra instead of Cialis I went with him to see if they had it. I got mine plus 10 Valium for the ride home. They didn't have steroids, or wouldn't sell it to him. Back to the hotel and waited for everyone to gather together. When we had a big bunch we went out, but in the parking lot, there was a lot of talk about where to go. I wanted to go where the expats, and the people at the hotel said. A couple of other guys had talked to taxi drivers and heard about other places. Our group split in two going different directions. The group I went with tried about five bars expecting Pattaya like places, they were not. Some wouldn't even let a group of farang in. After a while I said that I'm going to the place on the river, I'll see you guys in the morning. I flagged down a tuk tuk, (not what there are called there) and everyone jumped in with me. When we found the bar, it was a nice looking pub, no women in it. It was still early though, we were told midnight, I ordered a beer Lao (good beer by the way) and nursed it. All the Brits at the urging of one, bought themselves one of those big serve yourself beer dispensers. Then they proceeded to see who could finish theirs first. They threw in a couple of shots as well. We carried the winner, who was also the instigator of the drinking contest, to a tuk tuk and sent him back to the hotel. When we got back upstairs everyone got in a circle, all the Brits except one was hammered, they wanted some action. I tried to explain that we were told midnight, and it was only 11:30, but they would hear nothing of it, they took off to look for some action. At midnight the ladies started filtering in, just as we had been told. Everything was very low key, all the girls are freelancers. A group of young farang and young Lao ladies were sitting at the table next to us. One of the girls seemed to be flirting with me. I struck up a conversation with one of the guys, he was American. I couldn't tell if the group was coupled up or not, so I asked him, will there be ladies available here. He said that all the ladies in the place were available. He was a supervisor for an electronics firm, and the group he was with worked for him. So, I asked again, your friend seems to be flirting with me, is she available? Again he said, all the ladies in the place were available. I called the girl over and asked her if she wanted a drink, she said no, that she had one. Wow, this isn't Pattaya. She did stay and talk though, her English was much better than the average bar girl. After a while she suggested we go to the big disco. Sure why not. Outside we flagged down a tuk tuk, they look kind of like Thai tuk tuks, but more rickety, like they are ready to fall apart any second. It did break down about half way to the disco. The driver flagged down another tuk tuk and we switched and drove off. The disco is on top of some big highrise hotel, it can be seen for miles around. When we walk in, we are the only people in the place. It's just a big room, all painted black with tables in it. The bar is outside, you buy drinks there, and then bring them in. I'm uncomfortable and am ready to go. The first people to arrive were the guys I was with at the other bar, they had all hooked up with ladies and talked into going to the disco as well. With in a half hour, every seat in the place was taken. I guess that's where everyone goes after the bars close. If you don't find a lady in the first bar, the disco is the place to go, it has a lot of women in it. Otherwise, it's better to take the lady back to the room, no need to drink more, or spend any more money, the disco isn't that much. I asked the girl if she would spend the night with me and she said yes, we finished our drinks and left. I have to say, she was very good,, I got lucky, and she acted like she got lucky as well. In the morning we went for seconds, it was just as good. We showered, and I packed and started to go down for breakfast when she said. Sorry, you pay me now? What? Damn, I thought I got lucky, I had no idea she was working, she has a real job. She wanted 2,000 baht, I wouldn't go for it, and negotiated it down to 1,000, that took some effort. After that, she was my girlfriend again, we went for breakfast along with the other guys that had found ladies. We talked between ourselves some at breakfast, everyone of us were very happy with the lady we had taken, and thought that she had given extra service. Funny, all but one britt was sitting in a corner hungover, only the one that stayed at the bar had found a lady. The others had just gone from bar to bar drinking and looking for action. We were given our stamped passports back and told to start loading in the vans. Those of us with ladies boarded the vans last, none of the ladies wanted to let go, and none of the men wanted to let them go either. We all rode home on the same bus. All of the girls had traded phone numbers and e-mail addresses, all of them offered to come to Pattaya and stay with us. What a difference from the business like Pattaya girls, to these sweet ladies that truly acted like they liked us. I saw several of the other guys later, all had kept in contact with their Lao girl. Mine wrote many times, and called me several times. One day I'm having breakfast at Crazy Daves, the one English guy that had taken a lady was in there eating. He probably had the least money of all of us that took the visa run. He was teaching English in Pattaya for a very small salary, I couldn't live 2 days on what he was living on for a month. Hell, at the time, my typical FLB check bin was more than he was making a month. In talking to him, he said that he had kept in contact with his Vientiane girl, and that she was on her way to move in with him, traveling as we spoke. She was the prettiest of the bunch, and she knew how much he was living on. Fucking amazing. Anyway, back to the ride home, when we got to the border, I was worried, I had 10 Valium and 10 boxes of ED drugs. We were skirted around the whole group that were being checked and taken to our vans on the other side. Wish I could have stayed a couple of more days. I enjoyed getting away from the hustle and bussel of Pattaya and really enjoyed the lady I found. The whole thing was well worth the money spent. I always had it in the back of my mind, that if I had to do it again, see if I could go with one group, and then come back with the next group just to spend a couple more days there. Sorry about getting so wordy, you asked a simple question and I wrote a book. -
How much should you pay a GoGo girl

While funny, there is also a lot of truth to calculations.
