Dr Aree's has the best reputation in Pattaya. She is the dentists of all my expat friends, that use a dentist. She is not cheap though. You can find many places that charge less than 1/2 what she charges. A good friend who's girlfriend was having problems with some new, less expensive dental work. Took the GF to Dr Aree, who did an exam, and said "taxi driver on Monday, dentist of Friday" then re did all of the previous work, to the GF's satisfaction. She is also in demand. With most dentists in Pattaya, you can walk right in and have work done. With Dr Aree you will have to make an appointment a week in advance.

Sorry to say, you are as bad at stereo typing, as you are at selling. You really should look into a backup career.

Things that make you crazy in LOS........
lovedog100 replied to Mirkwood's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
1. Pulling by beer out of the condom every few minute to see if I'm done. Then finding one inch or less, shaking it like a bell in front of my face, asking if I want another. 2. The guys selling sunglasses, while sitting outside starbucks with 20 men, I'm the only one wearing sunglasses, yet the fuck won't go away, he keeps trying to sell the sunglasses. Telling me "made in Vietnam" I point to mine and say, made in America, better. The same guys asks me 3 or 4 time a week. 2. Those selling watches, again, I'm wearing a watch, sitting around people that are not. They go threw their bag until they find one that looks exactly like mine. No matter what I say, they keep negotiating price. 3. People with camera's on walking street. If you walk down the street with a lady, they will step right in front of your way making a finger motion. As if walking street isn't crowded enough, you have to go around them, and a few steps further, another steps in your path making a finger motion. 4. Waiting at a stoplight with two motorbikes to my left, and the light turns green, and the bike furthermost to the left makes a right hand turn while I am going straight. 5. Any amount of sound, at any hour is acceptable. 6. Turning a corner onto a one way street only to find a Thai coming at you head on, as fast as he can drive. 7. Anyone that tries to sell me anything while I'm trying to eat in a restaurant. -
To help a passenger to the beautiful city of Pattaya

I wouldn't reply to that member or not. -
You have got to be one of the most completely clueless salesman I have ever talked with. I sure hope that you have a backup career in the works.

a nighmare at the jasmine mansion
lovedog100 replied to bigorange1's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Damn it all to hell. Am I the only one that didn't notice the original date of this thread? May 11 2008, 01:36 PM What is it doing coming up in view new posts?? -
offshoreibc You are new here so you probably don't know. Honeypot is a bit of a troll. You allowed him to completely hijack your thread. You have also thread fucked yourself to death. Honeypots reply here is one of his best ever, and he is right. Representing a language school, your spelling, and grammar will, and should be held to a higher standard. You have pushed this thread to three pages, when it should have been three reply's for added information. For future reference, should you post on another forum. A better response would have been: You are correct, I was in a hurry and didn't have time to proof read before posting, I have gone back and corrected my original post, thanks for pointing it out for me. Tom asked for the name of the school. I know it's a salesman's trick not to answer, in order for you to get the commission. However, if a discount could be had through you, most would go that route. By not naming the school, you have come off as dishonest in some way. In turn he posted way more information about another school, than you gave about yours. Now in your thread, we have a good advertisement about Walen, and they don't come off as combative. Even after the board administrator reminded you that you seem to have lost track of your original intent, you went on with it. I would be willing to bet that not one person from this forum has called of PM'ed you. Be forewarned, if you answer this post, those that don't think that you are a complete wanker now, will.

a nighmare at the jasmine mansion
lovedog100 replied to bigorange1's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
You are correct. The complaints seem valid, and probably are. Personally, I wouldn't expect any better for 550 baht a night during high season in Pattaya. Then again, I wouldn't stay in a place that cheap, knowing what it would be like. There are plenty of well recommended hotels and guest houses on this forum. Some of the owners are respected board members. Wouldn't it be prudent to spend a couple of baht more and go for one of those places? -
I did warn him, he decided not to head the warning. When posting a topic, there is always someone that will try and thread fuck you. Where it gets really ugly, is when you end up thread fucking yourself.

I don't see the dilemma, that is a no brainer.

a nighmare at the jasmine mansion
lovedog100 replied to bigorange1's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Guys, that is one of the functions of this forum, to help other travelers. "i had read a previous review thatone of the boardies had problems at the jasmine mansion but i did i take the advice?" Why didn't you take the advise given? Two of you have given bad reviews. One of you called it a one star hotel. I'm with management here, what do you expect for 550 baht a night during high season? I am amazed that you could find anything in that price range. Thai pluming is notoriously bad. Anyone that can glue pipe together can claim to be a plumber, and there are no plumbing inspectors. Low or no water pressure is an ongoing problem in Thailand, as is smell coming from the drains. At home all drains have what's called a pee-trap that prevents swear smells from coming back into a building. Thai's almost never use them. The few times they are used, it's in a high end building with a farang overseeing the construction. Air-con leaks are also common. An air-con dehumidifies as it cools, that moisture needs to go somewhere, it ends up in the coil of the air-con. The Thai with an 8th grade education that came from a farm, yet now installs air-conditioners, didn't install a drain pipe for the condensation. Typical, believe me. You can slow the dripping by raising the temp of your air-con. I know that it feels great at 18 degrees, but set it at 25 degrees and it's still five degrees or more cooler than out side, and will make considerable less condensation. The Thai ladies will enjoy it better as well. Something I found raising the temp, I become acclimatised much easier and faster. It's nice that you gave us a heads up on the place. However, if we were like you, we will ignore the bad review and book a room anyway. Interesting outlook huh? Here is what I tell people that aren't using multinational hotel chains like Merriott, Hilton where they know what to expect. Book just for a couple of days. During those two-three days, decide if you want to stay longer, and look for a new place if needed. Read reviews, be sure to look at dates on reviews, often owners change, and standards raise, or lower. Talk to people you meet in town, and get recommendations. Never book 12 days in a place that you found bad reviews on. That is a no brainer. -
Personally, I prefer that someone quote from a book, ahead of what they heard on TV.

Yes, you did get a hard time on this topic. My reply was not mean spirited though. Rather informative. Your school may not be a visa mill, however, you did advertise it as one. As you have found out, when you put an ad in print, it should be concise and spelled correctly. There is no need to fire back at everyone that has a go at you. You are made to look combative, not a good choice for a salesman.

For those under 50, the one year ED visa is the easiest to get. However, if you want a second year, be very selective on which school you chose. Immigration has started to ask questions in Thai, and expect answers in Thai for those with an ED visa. While Walen was mentioned, I have several friends that are genuinely interested in learning Thai, they started school there, only to quit, and go to another school. They found it to be nothing more than a visa mill. I would be suspicious of the OP as well, he is touting a visa, not learning Thai. Another visa mill as I see it. They are OK as long as you only want to stay in Thailand a year or less. Not so good if you want to stay longer.

That sounds off to me. The trick here is paying for 4 weeks, not a month. There are 12 months in a year, however on a 4 week plan, rent would be due 13 times. Nice
-
Just found this on another board. He says 4,000-4,500 per month. Had pics that didn't look to bad, great for the money. The condo ( 4 floor) will be AVAILABLE for rent again very soon. If interested , please contact me or send a e-mail to : how241@gmail.com

Narin condo's have places in your price range. Many own their condo's or have several. The Narin rental office tacks on a couple of thousand baht to what an owner wants and will rent rooms. It's best to go in and ask questions from tennants, if they know if a place for rent. You can also go here, haven't used them, so no recommendation. http://2-thai.com/147_thailand_pattaya_nir...ondominium.html Narin condo's are on Soi Arunothai, the cross street that Carfour is on.

Bringing a Bargirl to my country. Good or bad idea
lovedog100 replied to roorsoldja's topic in Idle Chit Chat
Scott, all this back and forth justifying your reasons for bringing her to your country is really meaningless banter. If you want to do it, it's up to you. What anyone else thinks is meaningless. You are a man, and you know the pitfalls. Truthfully, many of us would do it if we could. I'd like to take Jane to the US with me for a month. It's virtually imposable. It would take a lot of time to get her a visa, and I would have to deposit more money into her account that my trust of a Thai lady would allow. Even one that I have been with for two years. You need to look at your countries visa requirements. They can be found here. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/apply-who.asp Also go on the different Thailand boards and do a search "Canadian tourist visa" and read others accounts of what they have had to go through to get a visa for a Thai lady. Thaivisa will give you the largest amount of information on the subject. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp.asp check out this page as well -
That was crazy, yet somehow funny.

Damn, I should have copied it. I would have liked to have kept it. What is up with my favorite video's being taken down?

Amazing that so few looked at this post. It was funny, and she does have nice boobs.

LOL, they aren't a clique, they are just a large amount of people that don't like you. It's hard to like such an abrasive person. Just as likely, because you are such a hypocrite. Being a welfare nanny cunt and wanting to get your jollies off of another man's money. What does bring a smile to most sponsors faces, is knowing that when you are going down on a sponsored lady, you are lapping up their cum. I can't wait for pictures to be published. Your face, with another mans cum dripping off of your tongue. Hell, I would go so far as to set it as my computer wallpaper.
