I'm not talking about parasite Thai guys. I'm talking about above middle class Thai working guys. They consider women who sell pussy to tourists as dirty women and they would not not consider picking this type of women up. Thai guys who pimp their women out are considered the scum of the earth.

Quite frankly, the Politically correct, bleeding heart left wing liberals make me sick no matter what country they claim. Europe is a good example that society cannot afford left wing socialism. At least Thailand doesn't reward single women for birthing bastards and support people who are too lazy to work. Before I retired, workers were subject to random drug tests. How is it that the liberals consider drug tests for professional welfare leaches unconstitutional? I'm all for letting the druggies starve.

You obviously have NOT tried Norton for several years. It is now light, fast and does a great job. I quit using Norton because MSE is free and my Norton Internet Security package expired.

The biggest difference is that Thai women enjoy being women. Western women are unisex and believe there is no difference between men and women. The femininity is long gone. The last western woman I tried to take out told me that if we were ever married, I would have to do my own cooking, cleaning and wash my own clothes. She told me that she NEVER washed her ex husbands clothes. We parted ways when I told her that I understood why she was divorced. My Thai wife gets upset if I try to do her housework. I'm not allowed to take out the trash or cut weeds in the yard. The main reason I'm not allowed to take out the trash is because I throw away good things and I can't cut weeds because some weeds are her herbs. My best friend in the US is single and he told me the women want the same as a financial statement before the first date.

While I was working for a Thai company, I would go out with the engineers on pay nights. They would never consider going to the farang ghettos for girls. We went to Thai night clubs. They alway made fun of me for picking ugly girls. The Thai guys always picked white skinned tall girls no matter whether they were ugly or not. Amazingly most of the girls in these places could speak decent English. I was told that the girls were nearly all university educated. This was quite some time back and the beer was 150 baht a bottle. The bar fines were never less than 1,500 baht. I never paid a bar fine like that nor did I ever take one of the girls. I was told that I should give the girl a minimum of 2,000 baht. In contrast the farang ghettos charged 300 baht bar fine and the girls were happy with 500 baht long time. Beer was normally about 40 baht a bottle.

I had installed Avast along side of Microsoft Security Essentials. Everything was working fine. Both programs were updating correctly and the computer experienced no slow downs. Last week MSE had a program update and it wouldn't install. I ended up having to decide whether to keep Avast or MSE. I kept MSE and uninstalled Avast. MSE now works properly.

I was a long time user of Firefox but over the years it has gotten bloated with junk and has slowed down. It appears to be going the same route as Opera. I liked Opera before they added all the junk. I had problems with Chrome crashing quite often but it seems better now. Lately I have been using Comodo Dragon and have had no problems. I think Comodo is identical to Chrome except for the added security features. I prefer a simple browser but do want add ons such as an ad blocker and email notifier. Comodo has those add ons.

Unless a guy is paranoid, why would he care what the girls are saying? As for myself, I do my best to tune out conversations between my wife and her friends. They can talk for a long time and really say nothing.

I was just in Pattaya for a week and ate there three times. The hamburgers are quite good and other customers seemed to be enjoying their meals also. The chicken fried steak was excellent but the mashed potatoes and green beans that were with it definitely need some improvement. I'll be going back the next trip.

Some years ago, a neighbor lady was looking sick and thin. She was living with a farang. She died a few months later and my wife told me that she had died of an AIDS related sickness. Her farang boyfriend supposedly checked negative for HIV so if that was true, which I have no reason to doubt, it is difficult for a man to contract the dreaded condition. That said, a sure way to ruin a great holiday is to contract a dose of the clap during your first few days in fun city. If you are any sort of decent guy, you will NOT infect anyone else. Being celibate in fun city for a couple of weeks is a REAL bummer, I know.

I often get a laugh from well traveled, educated and worldly farangs telling me how stupid and conniving their Thai girlfriends are. Their rants usually end when I mention the fact that the ladies were smart enough to take them to the cleaners. Quite often things are not quite what they seem.

Right across from the Rock House is going to be another Go Go bar called MASH. They are advertising for dancers right now. Salary from 8,000 to 20,000 per month. When it will open is anyone's guess but they have a big advertising banner out front.

Had I noticed Thai prostitutes around the pool, I probably would have spent more time there. As I witnessed, there were a LOT of fat Europeans there and therefore, I looked elsewhere for the prostitutes that I came to find.

I normally stay in Jomtien on my get-a-way trips from upcountry. This trip I went to Pattaya with another upcountry farang expat. We stayed at the Siam Sawasdee on Soi Buakao for six nights. The standard rooms were clean and pleasant but by no means luxurious. The room size suited me. Considering the free breakfast and the swimming pool, the 950 baht Internet rate wasn't too bad. The breakfast buffet selection always had a couple Thai dishes that were quite tasty. Coffee was very good with milk and cream available. Tasty jams and real butter for the toast but the ancient toaster sucked. The fried eggs were OK, but the ham floating in water is best avoided. Sausages are actually hot dogs but OK. Fresh salad makings are also on offer. I don't much care much for salad in the mornings but the fresh fruit was appreciated. The swimming pool is small but clean. Unfortunately the pool area was always packed and closes at 6:00 PM. That early closing and with only Chang, Singha and Heineken beer available, the pool bar sucked. I think there are better choices available for a little more money if you need a swimming pool. I read some reviews of the place that said the staff people were rude and unhelpful. I found that to be the opposite. We quite enjoyed all the girls at the check in counter. They were always laughing and joking with us. The cleaning lady was friendly too. I probably won't stay there again.

A local barber once cleaned my ears. It didn't hurt but a few days later I had an ear infection. I thought that was unusual because I had never had an ear infection in my life. I ended up going to the doctor. The very first thing he asked me was if a barber had cleaned my ears. He told me to NEVER allow that again. After an injection and a series of antibiotics, it cleared up only to come back a few weeks later. I had a hell of a time getting over the infection.

It's a good thing I didn't bet on the Patriots and Jets game. I would have lost the farm.

I'm not a Patriots fan but I think they will take it all. The Ravens are out and the Falcons are down 21 points in the fourth quarter. The Packers may have a chance but it looks like they may have used up most of their luck against the Falcons. The Steelers are also in the picture.

Years ago I went from Bangkok, where I worked, to Jomtien with a girlfriend. I needed a haircut and told the girlfriend to tell the barber how to cut it. I too felt the clippers go from front to back. I knew it was cutting very short because the clipper was cold on my scalp. No longer aggravated having long hair blowing in the breeze felt so good that I have never let it grow back out. If not for my girlfriend, I would have never had the nerve to have it all cut off. No regrets here, I'm still bald and loving it.

D and D was sold and Ken, the former owner relocated to Sihanoukville. Ken passed away some time back. As far as I know D and D was never moved unless someone took the name for a new place.

I have been using Microsoft Security Essentials and have had no problems. It has warned me a number of time when I was downloading torrents. It then gives the option to remove the threat and it always does. Recently I downloaded the free Avast and it runs side by side with MSE. MSE recognizes Avast and has no problems running with Avast. Some time back,I was using the free AVG and got infected. That is the only antivirus program that failed to protect my computer. AVG also irritated me with false alarms.

From Thai Visa; I read in one of the Pattaya newspapers there is a new "Canine Sanctuary" in Lake Mabprachan. But the article didn't give any address, directions, contact info.
