Great Gonzo. I came across this a while back and have listened to it a few times…….Hearing Dueling Banjos brought it back to mind……Though these two don't duel as such. Although St Petersburg has its attractions I felt the music would have benefited from a back-drop of, 'porches sagging with old black men and children' and that this type of music has only one authentic setting. I rarely use baht buses but I have had 2 incidents where ladyboys in a group have engaged me in conversation while the 'quiet one' nestles alongside with a coat or a bag on 'her' lap. Just read this thread through………. If this is typical, then the quality of posts & posters then is much the same as nowadays. I think it was Shilo who lamented the poverty of current BM's abilities when compared to the posters of the fabled 'Golden Age'. I thought he may have had a point. But, Gabor's omnipresence, (fighting Pieman)……..the similar pessimistic outlooks of BMs……. their language…….. the tiffs and insults have convinced me, (to use a well known Thai'ism), its a case of "Same same but ……well…..same"!!
