Getting a non-imm visa may be your first problem since Hull cut back on the O Visas. -

Just a hunch, but have you tried Korea Town in BKK? Sukhumvit Soi 12. -

What visa were you on when you got the 1 year license? -
My understanding is that you can legally get round it by buying in excess of 10 litres. It's only retail sales, which are defined as being up to 10 litres in one transaction, that are subject to the ban. Over 10 litres is wholesale. I could be totally wrong as I buy my booze at the local duty-free stores and haven't had reason to test it at Tesco.

Way dann saff, actually. I think DrMick's place up in Khon Kaen is around 10k a month as well.

I wrote about the place (and posted pics) a while back. House for 10k a month

However, for various reasons, there are lots of good quality properties (as described by the OP, except maybe for the pool!) available for an annual rent of between 3-4% of cost. I was paying 10k Baht/pm for a good quality 3 bed/3 bath house that cost 3.6m Baht new. And why not? It's a perfectly valid consideration.

Surely you would have been automatically upgraded from 4 meg somewhere along the line. -
Thanks for the link to Budget Air. I had a browse through the site and came across one of it's sister sites, Cheaptickets (Thailand). Chucked in dates for November and it returned Etihad for less than 27k Baht which is a great price from Thailand.

I think you'll find that credit/debit cards are on the list of prohibited/restricted items for DHL. I would guess the same would likely apply to Fedex.

Hotel with elevator and hot tub
CheshireTom replied to BigDUSA's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Why not just e-mail your requirements to the managers of half a dozen or so 5* hotels. I'm sure they'll be falling over themselves to accommodate you. A mate of mine swears by it. -
You pretty much summed it up, Johnny. Still, a good, efficient night's work by Khan I thought.

For anyone interested the Khan v Judah fight is on Astro Supersports 2 starting at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning. I know some places have Astro and some cable companies carry the Astro Supersport feed. As for the boxing itself, my far from expert opinion, or rather hope, is for a Khan victory. I'm not totally convinced how good he actually is, so I suppose this fight will give us some decent pointers in that respect.

I've read the article a couple of times and can't see what the "new requirements" are. What are you on about; Thai racism?

Most folk seem to agree that, generally speaking, they do. Good advice about timings at Suvarnabhumi but the issues apply just as equally to full-service airlines.

Anyone got any further info? "AirAsia eyes 10 Airbus units by Jeremiah F. de Guzman AirAsia Inc., the unit of AirAsia Group in the Philippines, said over the weekend it will deploy up to 10 Airbus 320 in the first three years of its operations to serve Southeast Asian destinations. AirAsia Philippines chairman Antonio Cojuangco told that the carrier’s maiden flight is set in October. “We will start with two Airbus 320. We still don’t have specific routes. We still have to go through applications first,” Cojuangco said. He said first aircraft would be delivered in August and the second in October or November. The airline, he said, had applied for four regional destinations that he did not disclose. The carrier earlier said it wanted to launch flights from the Philippines to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Hong Kong and China. Cojuangco also said AirAsia Philippines planned to increase its fleet from just two this year to eight to 10 Airbus 320 in the next three years." "AirAsia Philippines earlier announced it would set up base at Diosdado Macapagal International Airport in Clark, Pampanga province. DMIA, which is 85 kilometers away from Ninoy Aquino International Airport, is the main airport serving the immediate vicinity of the Clark Special Economic Zone."

He wasn't. The big guy was 8/13 - 4/6 favourite. Maybe you don't understand UK betting odds if you think that you can have a 2/1 favourite in a boxing match.
