  1. I was reading somewhere about a jeweller that often gives "sermons" at the "expats club". Jacko may know of him. He runs a business in Thailand, Black Star Jewellry, but I believe it is in Bangkok. I have enquired for a similar project at the Gems Gallery, but although probably safe and reputable, their prices were well beyond even LDOP level; and it was far more economical getting it done back in UK.
  2. Nicely manoeuvred out of the "near simultaneous" post syndrome Nightrider ! Daniel Day-Lewis
  3. Got one ofthose at the old railway place on Isle of Man. It was not very hot! MMs contribution is my favourite brekky, but I'll stick with plates! I've yet to find a decent 'Benedict in Pattaya!
  4. The diabolical "Beyond the Poseidon Adventure" !
  5. Hmm I surely did...very intermittent connection at the moment. So I'll pass, as I don't know Yellowbeard.
  6. That looks like an "High" Tea to me! You need some baked beans on the plate to turn it into a breakfast!
  7. I did actually "private hire" a baht bus once, just to get across the Sukhumvit. Didn't even trust a motorcycle for that, at the time!
  8. Speaking of which, I got some Tetleys tea, for the home there last visit I made; I seem to recall you searching it out on some other thread elsewhere.
  9. While we are at it, Here is a clip of the greatest US artist on the world-wide scene!
  10. Nice work, as ever, Firth. Whenever I am asked, I always say that if you are only going to do one "tour of culture" in Thailand, then this is the place to visit.
  11. Loy Krathong on 25th too, of course. IMHO the best of the Thai celebration days.
  12. Maximum sentence for child abuse in UK is 10 years, not including violence rape etc. Therefore 6 years may well not be light in the eyes of the law. Immigration "should" have an address for him, should the UK authorities seriously want to extradite him.
