I would have thought that they take more than that. The place is invariably full, with mostly bussed in tourist parties. I would have thought that ￡300K would be more like a conservative "annual profit".

I've always found that if you ask the motorcycle taxi pilot to go carefully or slowly they do so, and are much more inclined to please in the hope of regular trade than the Bahtbus drivers. However, I don't use them that often as I positvely hate riding on the "bitch seat" of a bike.

Using an airbridge!…Luxury! My last return trip using Etihad involved 4 poxy bus trips to or from planes parked away from the terminals for no apparent reason. … Not really the reason for me changing to Emirates of late, but I let them know and think that it was a major factor!

Mo's first ever win at Old Trafford! We, the crowd, definately won the match, (It was never a penalty ) In fact I reckon Young should have had a straight red for the first dive, where you could arguably say that he delibeately kicked the back of the defenders calf . Mo has said he wants to stop the diving, so that is Nani and Young unemployed then ! Mind Sir Misery used to say the same, but it was he that introduced it to the United game in the first place. Crap match, but a win is a win! Campaigning for the return of "Evil Kagawa" here.

Same-same on the Glasgow - BKk routes 1st Class. I see that I am the only passenger booked for my next 2 trips too, although business travellers would not normally book so far in advance. They seem not to upgrade people either. Emirates are considering getting rid of 1st Class altogether, and I suppose this situation sort of backs it up, as the fares are/were extremely competetive. (￡3100 for the forthcoming February trip, November's was a bit more).

Saw a Norwegian guy get away with the old 5 Baht trick last visit. Paid and then briskly walked back the way that we had come from on Sai2. Not recommended !

The normal practice in Pattaya, when the exchange rates start to favour the visitor, is to raise prices; accompanied by the wail " Just think of the price you would pay in USA/Europe". The reverse situation price reductions are rarely if ever seen!

Kaka would be interesting for us at United, but I think Italy would be his country of choice. He would be quite a sum for a fairly old player, but we do need a bit of class in midfield.
