I checked out this guy's vblog...wow, he gets excited, doesn't he?

If, like me, you are wondering about storm categories...

Yes, that was S07E06. I waited until broadcast time...the Spanish leaked version just wasn't high enough quality for me to enjoy it on a big screen TV. I didn't get around to watching it until Tuesday, and at the end, I imagine there were millions of viewers saying "Oh shit!".

Yes, I had a strange set of problems with my coffee machine. It worked when it was in the shop and didn't on arrival at home. Problems eventually resolved thru black magic. BTW, here's the descaling package. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

I buy packets of descaling powder from Bon Cafe, but as you are averse to a trip to Naklua, that's not useful to you. I don't recall their cost either, but since I use a packet every 6 mos or so, it's not a big budget item.

Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Tagliatelle with Garlic Toast

Damn! I just saw this when I am hungry. -
Just recalling some of the books and authors that were popular with the "counter-culture" during that time... John Barth The Sotweed Factor, a hilarious adventure described as I read all of his books during that time...The End of the Road, The Floating Opera, and the huge Giles Goat Boy Tom Robbins Robbins started publishing in the early 70's with subculture characters who lived outside of what was then normal society. His characters were zany, iconoclastic and unrealistic, but for a younger audience, they resonated with the rejection of the society at large. He's writt

Great American Sandwich Company on Soi Buakhao (Dec. 27, 2017)

I had the "small" burger with fries, and I couldn't finish even though I was hungry. I'm really glad I didn't order the double cheeseburger! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk -
That's exactly my dilemma. I may just wait until regular broadcast date even though I have a good high quality version downloaded and begging me to watch it. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Same reason every time they make a change.

When I'm shopping at Foodland on Pattaya Klang, I frequently eat at Took la Dee. The specials are ridiculously cheap but they're not bad at all. I've had better eggs benedict there for less than 100 baht than a few of the more touted restaurants on several social media pages. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

I had the pork tenderloin filet today and it was delicious. It's the first time I've been back since the reboot, and I'm glad to see that the quality is as good as ever.In fact I'll say that the cook looks much better than the last one! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

As an American I find glaswegian Thai food to be completely inedible for my taste. The sauces are cloyingly sweet, everything I've had has been swamped and syrupy sweet, with overwhelmingly gooey sauce. I'm used to the American Style as found in San Francisco Bay area Chinese restaurants that specialize in Hunan and Sichuan cuisine which tend to be less loaded with sauces and have more heat. I've eaten at and ordered from Wok n Roc, and I've left most of the order uneaten every time. I will give kudos to their hot and sour soup though. It's pretty good. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tap

Outstanding issue this month!

That's the one. He actually wasn't banned physically, but left because he had received credible threats of harm to him and his. He relocated back to the UK. Worse yet, the scoundrels who he outed, with their mercantile connections with the powers-that-be, got his web domain blocked in Thailand. It's not porn, not lese majeste, not especially anti-government, but a word in the right ears from his enemies (who have since left the country under arrest warrant for the very crimes he described) got the MICT to insert his domain into their block list. That block list is similar to the no-fly list u

Speaking of fast delivery times, I ordered a kitchen appliance from amazon.co.uk (UK Amazon) because I needed 220V power support. The product shipped to Thailand (many do not) using the Amazon Global shipping, which was pricey, included estimate of customs, but said the delivery would be less than a week. The product weighed several kg, so I did expect shipping to be substantial. Below is a breakdown of the costs. Sure enough, the product arrived in perfect condition in 4 days! It was shipped from mainland Europe, somehow breezed thru customs, and after delivery, I was informed they

Just happened on this one night when the missus was watching it with Thai audio (and Chinese subtitles). I found a USA release version that had English subtitles and watched it last night. It was a blast! Funny dialog, lots of special effects, overall, an engaging and entertaining movie. I gave it 8/10 easy for me, just because it was so enjoyable. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2017561/?ref_=login#_=_

It goes into the nitty gritty of how money-laundering is done, and for that alone, since it is so common here in Pattaya, it's an interesting topic. Above and beyond the technical details of cleaning cash, it has a gripping story line where the "normal" family of the money launderer is confronted by the reality of the people they work for. Good casting, good story in an not generally well-known vacation spot, with realistic action and quirky Ozark people...for me, it was quite easy to watch, and I hope there is a season 2, cause it definitely needs one.

Watched season 1 of Ozark, released recently on Netflix...excellent! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5071412/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Internet 90 day reporting...broken for all or just me?
MM replied to MM's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
That's great news. I wonder if it will continue to work when I have to do my reporting. It hasn't yet.
