  1. Absolutely not trolling but surely just for once people can avoid social media for 12 hours
  2. Very fair rental price but Nirun is the nearest thing you'll get to a English Council estate. I would be looking over my shoulder constantly at 2am for sure
  3. Maintenance I would say Butch.
  4. I agree with Butch a few baton wielding plod giving them 3 opportunties to move and on 3rd refusal whack them. Can you just imagine Thai Police allowing such disruption on Sukumvit in Bangkok. They wouldnt whack em they'd just shoot them
  5. I remember going to meet someone who stayed there must be 11-12 years ago and waiting by the pool and thinking what a shit house this is.
  6. Course it wasn't. Guy claiming a week of massages to sort it out was comedy gold
  7. Bushcraft lol what possible reason would there be to kill 6000 of your own citizens (or whatever number is was) just to legitimise going after OBL It was a terrorist atrocity simple as. We still have fruits claiming we never even landed on the moon in the first place. You're telling us that captains off those Jets willingly committed suicide by deliberately flying into both twin towers in view of millions worldwide. Perhaps it was an optical illusion . Complete insanity Its a massive insult to all the citizens of the USA who died that day along with firefighters to claim an "inside job"
  8. Seems that quite a few think that 9/11 wasn't as we all imagined. Personally I simply cant believe that the whole affair was deliberately orchestrated to allow the USA to legitamatly pursue Osama Bin Laden. That is simply far fetched when if that was the objective it could have been done on the black previously. I saw that 2nd jet live hit the 2nd tower. We were watching live. It happened. Still plenty believe that there were clear reasons why something was badly amiss that day and flight 93 and the Pentagon attack I agree is very suspect
  9. I had to google flight 93 as it wasn't coming to my mind initially. Very strange. Same with that other flight that crashed into the Pentagon was it ?? Very little debris etc ??
  10. Lawyer jailed for antics on aircraft . She'll have some fun and games if she comes across anyone shes helped convict https://www.aol.co.uk/news/2019/04/04/lawyer-jailed-for-spitting-at-flight-attendant-during-racist-tir/?ncid=webmail
  11. They dont just have one night off and fly again its a rostered 16 hour "assignment" for want of a better word from coming on duty 2.5 hours before and off 1.5 hours after. They dont do more than 2 sectors a week on that routing because of the jet lag same with non stops to Kualu Lumpar and Hong Kong
  12. I believe it is indeed £50 Butch for a 23kg load having read that elsewhere only yesterday from guy who had asked same question
  13. Yes I should have added its not "suitcases" but "holdalls" style of bags. I used to have a very long one I bought in Pattaya in the 90's very light weight but strong and used to load it up with gear. Only once from memory did it get taken off me and put in the hold where my main bag was Edited...will see if I can find relevant links bit later
  14. Am reading various reports that BA whilst having no hold baggage in tbe price will allow 23kg into the cabin and overhead bins. Dont take that as gospel but sources Business Traveller amongst others are good
  15. No baggage allowance though. Its showing on the sites I normally use as well

Never known any Thai girl who actually hasnt got Line !
  17. Enlighten me if you can. The one problem with constantly reading Thaivisa forum is you read so many conflicting reports. If someone was coming to the end of their visa having already extended it locally in Jomtien previously do they get 7 or 15 or 30 days at a land border crossing ??
  18. Adding to the above they were couple weeks ago voted 2nd cleanest airline in the world https://www.independent.co.uk/travel/news-and-advice/cleanest-airlines-2019-world-skytrax-awards-ana-all-nippon-airways-a8829731.html
  19. Agreed I first flew them out of Gatwick in 1993 when they stopped in Vienna on outbound sector. I'd be guessing slightly but I'd say 27-30 return tickets. I was Gold for some time in the 90's. Never ever once were we delayed out of Heathrow bar the usual queuing. On one flight there was a big issue back in Taiwan pre check in and they couldnt get the flight programmes to upload. I may have have been lucky (think I was back to Silver) but I was put on Thai and as they both went same time nightly I got there the same time as originally scheduled the next day On one flight it was delayed in Taipai landed late into Bangkok and we were rushed on to ensure it got to Heathrow before the curfew. It did and landed safely. I had missed my transport back home so had to wait to morning. Was naturally just going to accept it as one of those things but bridge crew were asking if people had missed connections etc. No problem sir hotel voucher plus breakfast Brilliant airline and certainly in my top five
  20. The issue is transit is very short have looked at Austrian/Swiss before they codeshare on many flights but even when a Heathrow motor pushes back bang on time it can be another half hour before wheels up. Austrian had a 50 minute transit connection and the problem is obvious
  21. Good OP Butch I hadnt realised I had already responded about the coloured string around both grab handles which will remove 99% the chance of some tit picking up accidentally the wrong one. In addition I put the frequent flyers luggage tags even if the tag is expired again it has your name on it What have also started doing is as I leave home is photograph the bag makes it very easy for the description bit of a lost bag form. I've been lucky never had one go astray and stay astray. Had one arrival at Heathrow where bag didnt come off but as Butch says the boarding card tab has the barcode on the back. Immediately they were able to see it hadnt been loaded along with others because of a weight problem with the airline on BA and it was delivered to me at home next day. Handy because I didnt have to walk through customs with 40 shirts in the bag
  22. I dont doubt what you're saying has have come across it before but someone using a Thai ATM daily will rack up 6,600 baht of charges or $208 of refunds on a 30 day month....?? That simply cannot be right obviously. There must be a limit surely each month or year ??
  23. Yes I suspect that Eva will benefit hugely because those lowest priced economy classes are the ones we see on Skyscanner Travel Supermarket etc etc
  24. Have been following it closely and its gone somewhat quiet. If the OP sees your post he will answer am sure because he's industry related I know, he actually bought some Emirates air milles off me around 2004 may have been earlier actually
  25. You can with mine at True Move but it doesnt advance the validity date only the balance
