  1. If you don't mind not having air con and being in an open air environment, the value at Robins Nest is hard to beat and the food is on par with all the afore mentioned
  2. On a recent bar crawl a good friend of mine was nice enough to pick up a pepperoni pizza from Brooklyn Diner for us. Thin crust style which i prefer. I thought it was very good and will make an effort to make it back there!
  3. Sorry but i am wondering why your prices on a Turkey dinner are the same as last year when you state Turkey prices have gone down. As customers we pay for time, staff, services etc, and i have no problem with that. Just the way it is written is a little off putting. i like the idea of a set dinner menu as opposed to a buffet where many times what is on offer online sometimes does not appeal to everyone that have paid their money. I have been a customer for over 12 years but in the past have felt these kind of promotions to be a bit of a let down, just my 2 satang worth
  4. Let me see if i got this straight. TR wants me to come before Thanksgiving to pre-pay for a meal i am now obligated to make it to in order to save 40 baht! All so i can spend 500 baht on a basic plate of food that would cost me 300 baht. How much do you expect someone to eat, Pass!
  5. Yensabai Condo is hardly a modern building! Value for the units there are still very good but the management, if Jason is still there, is shit! You forgot to mention on the way to the famed Walking Street is a trip through gay town and Sunee PLaza where you had better not reach for anything shiny on the ground
  6. Panic attack!!!!! FFS! There has been an Al Queda office in Doha for years. I have flown Qatar Air for many years, the service and meals have been more than fine, the worse thing that has happened was the stew spilled a Bloody Mary in my crotch, which she happily refilled many times :). Yeah the world cup thing is a joke!
  7. 44 sqm studio for sale in Jomtien Beach. Less than 1 KM from the beach, newly re-furbished, fully furnished, air, Kitchenette, large balcony in quiet building. Big communal swimming pool, 24 hr security. Priced to sell at 1.25 million Baht. Email Brian7seas@gmail.com
  8. What you are saying is that changing the battery every two years is equal to another 24K depreciation on top of a new bikes depreciation? Where in the world do you get that?
  9. I go to the one on soi Chiayapoon once in a while for a quick cheap breakfast. Not bad, not great, but with their prices it's hard to complain
  10. If you want to call a Thai over using a had gesture do it with your palm facing down. Never show a Thai the bottom of your foot!
  11. Aside from running lights during idle it another start of the engine the battery has to make. It may shorten the battery life but not by much. I have had my pcx for a year and use it all the time, i'll probably change the battery at year two just for basic maintenance
  12. LOL! For Northshore try at least 100K now. Going prices for new condos now are crazy, so at 75K it is decent. I still think the best values are older re-sale units where you can still get units at 40-50K and refurbish them
  13. Why not upload the pics to picassa, flickr, photo bucket, etc and then post a link. If it is a nice unit then at 75K per sqm sounds like a pretty decent deal. Good luck with the sale!
  14. Looks like a copy of the show "Wipeout"! Gotta give that a go.
  15. I was wondering about an outdoor prostate massage myself...lol
  16. You think drinking and driving is interesting? Better you stick to baht buses
  17. Momento Beach, get a table outside by the pool
  18. Yes those are very good. Two Phum Phuy on Pratumnak soi 5 also does a nice Jimmy Dean sausage
  19. You stay in Thailand and eat Indian 3x a week?? Are you Indian?? An attractive offer but i can't be bothered to drive way up to Lake Maprachan just for a free curry
  20. I have a friend that had it done and couldn't be happier with it. I also had lasik done there and it came out very well
  21. If you don't have a tank you really should get one. Unfortunately our water comes from the government straight into a tank under our house. That means no electric, no pump. No pump, no water, toilet flushes, showers, etc. As a reserve the Mrs keeps a 30 gallon drum in the downstairs bathroom so can always shower up country style if necessary
  22. Shenanigans Jomtien Beach, Queen Vic soi 6
  23. TIT. Btw this is not a 5 star place, try running a local place here yourself!
  24. Just found the video chat feature on Line. I'm used to Tango for video and Viber for sms, but it seems Line is becoming increasing popular
