  1. Thanks for the replies. That is what I thought but I wanted to confirm it as we all know what assuming can do.
  2. In the past we have always just got the 30 day visa on arrival. This year we booked our flights to stay for 60 days so I checked out the electronic visa website. It states "The validity of a visa is 3 months or 6 months." I am a bit confused, does the three months start from the beginning of our trip(we are staying 60 days} or does it expire 3 months after issue which could be a problem if I applied too early. I would like to apply for it at least 4-6 weeks before we leave to be on the safe side in case there are any problems with our application. Any insight would be appreciated.
  3. Have used Nam's the past 3-4 trips. Excellent service.
  4. I have found "Greenshot" very useful. You can easily select the portion of the screen you wish to print. https://getgreenshot.org/
  5. I also would like to comment on Nam's service. We have used her for the last 2 or 3 trips both picking up at the airport and returning to the airport. All the drivers have been good, very prompt, the communication excellent and the price fair. I would certainly recommend her service.
  6. No Google Fi is regular phone service with data. The data is billed to us @ $10 per GB, same as at home in USA.. Our phone calls to home are billed @ .20 per minute and texts are N/C . We also use the condo wi fi when we are there so that data is not charged only the data from the phone company. I do not know which Thai phone company Google Fi partners with but I seldem have any problems.
  7. Do not have a situation that requires a Thai # (no Thai bank) so above works for us.
  8. My wife and I have had Google Fi for about 3 years. It has been great for staying in touch with USA. Texting is included, calls are inexpensive and data is same price as home. For Thai contacts we use Line , What's App or Facebook messenger.
  9. Jim We use Libre Office and have done so for a few years and are happy with it
  10. I also have been very pleased with NY Pizza having had their pizza 3 times in the last month on this trip.
  11. Jim I have been using Thunderbird for a number of years now and have always been happy with it.
  12. I like Pizza Big and also New York Pizza on Third Rd(but last visit to NY Pizza in June was not as good as previous)
  13. Evil Wife and I went last night and had the pizza. We both thought it was pretty good but with a slightly unusual flavor. Our service girl was excellent. We also had a similar experience to Keyman as there was a table of 6 with ONE guy extremely loud, the others not so much. All in all we will be back for pizza in the future. Thanks for your review
  14. I agree with that one but did like these
