I'm with you, Kidd you not!

Love to see the Eagles upset the Pats. I will be rooting for them all the way.

I was in Pattaya when my Oakland Raiders played Tampa Bay in the Super Bowl. Stayed up all night to watch it live, starting with pre-game at about 5:30 AM. There were two of us die-hard Raider fans still watching and getting drunk by the time the game ended and my beloved Raiders got their ass kicked by Gruder and his team.

Will be at home for this game and won't have to stay up all night before the game. Damn, Wish I were in Pattaya so I could stay up all night again for the game as I got a nice BJ before I went downstairs in the hotel to watch the satellite feed and another when I went upstairs to my room. To me, those were the only good things about that particular Super Bowl!

Go Eagles!

Rockin'

Sorry guys.

The 4th best team up against 1) a team that held the league's most explosive offense to a field goal on the last play of the first half and slammed the door totally shut for the second 30 minutes, and 2) a team that put up 34 points against the best defense in the league.

Nice try, but the birds didn't beat anybody worth mentioning.

Pats by two TDs. :nod

OK guys but how are you going to bet it. I am personally staying away from this game but last time I looked the spread was Pats plus 6-1/2. Hard line to bet. Make it Pat plus 2-1/2 and I would be all over the Pats. In other words I believe the Pats will just get by on this one. It would be nice to have a couple of Super Bowls that really are good games. Most of the games in the 90's sucked but the last few have been pretty good. Except that Oakland game, but I hate Oakland so that wasn't even too bad even though I liked their QB at the time.

Picked up my Prop sheet today at my local casino. Pats are giving 6.5 points and the total is 47. I think the Pats will win easily but I don't like the line so probably won't bet it.

I DO like the some of the many prop bets. Always like to bet on who will score the first TD. Corey Dillon is the favorite at 3/1, with Micheal Westbrook at 6/1. McNabb is a pretty good bet at 10/1

Some other props:

First turnover Pats +105 Eagles -125

Total punts over 8.5 (-120), under 8.5 (even)

First team to score Pats -170, Eagles +150

Total QB sacks over 5 (+125) under 5 (-145)

Sorry, I didn't see the odds on the coin toss :beer

The thing that impressed me about the PATS in the colts game. Both their off line and def line dominated. They push people around. Same thing in Pit. Play after play on both side of the ball the pats got penetration. I don't think the Eagles will be able to stop that. Unless the Eagles manage to get some big plays (maybe a TO touch) and some special teams points (kickoff rtn) they will get a hurt put on them. Pats by 10. B)

Not only are the Pats physical, they come up with great schemes. I was reading today about how Bellichick, Brady, and the OC saw something with one of Pitts dbs and devised a play that led to that first long pass.

Eagles are a great team. Should be a good game. I like how McNabb always mentions the sox as motiviation. Pats need to knock him down a few times.

One of these years I still want to do a superbowl party in a big suite at one of the big hotels in Bangkok one day with friends, food, top shelf booze, betting and some loose women

Trotter will be stuffing Corey Dillon at the line like he did to Warrick Dunn for the Falcons. Brian Dawkins will lay some bone jarring hits on the Pats recievers. Brady will be blitzed on his ass more than a few times. TO is back in the lineup for the Birds and will draw enough attention to open it up for Westbrook out of the backfield. When all else fails, McNabb will run for the first down. Eagles will win with an Ackers field goal.

Go Pats. The Eagles are going to get their ass kicked. 2guns I hope. :D

I bet the Patriots 2 months ago to win it all at 3-1

I teased the AFC (pats) line in the Superbowl down to -1 on 2 different tickets (with some other NFL teams a few weeks ago).

I have the Patriots in the first and third quarter at -1/2 in both quarters. I want to bet the Patriots -3 in the second quarter as well. I might bet the Eagles in the 4th quarter at -1/2.

I have the Patriots in 8 different tickets, if the Patriots win, I'll be happier than a pig in shit.

I'm thinking about taking the Eagles and 7 points, i'll probably do that Sunday morning to see if the line moves at all. The line has been at 7 the past week and a half.

I'm from Syracuse so i should like McNabb but I think the Patriots are going to win big, they are a very Physical team and i guarantee Wide reciever Freddie Mitchell is going to get hit by Mr.Harrison of the Patriots, damm that boy can hit. 1luv To make matters worse for the Eagles, Richard Seymore who is the Patriots best defensive player is expected to play.

http://www.superbowl.com/news/story/8156872

I think the Patriots are going to win big, they shut down the NFL's best offense (Colts) and embarassed the NFL's best defense (steelers). But one thing i've learned about sports is NEVER GO WITH THE OBVIOUS.

Should be a great game, you guys think Janet Jackson is going to show her tits again? :nod

cheers

Trotter will be stuffing Corey Dillon at the line like he did to Warrick Dunn for the Falcons.

Warrick Dunn is 185lbs, Dillon is 225.

Dillon also has a slightly better OL than the Falcons who, like the Eagles, didn't beat anybody worth mentioning.

T.O. is a poser who is well known for folding when the going gets tough. I can't wait for his first reception and the immediate drilling by Vrabel, Bruschi, McGinest take your pick. That should take care of the pussy for the rest of the game.

As for Freddy Mitchell, he's had his 15 minutes. He's all hair and effall else.

Remember Hollywood Henderson?

Big talk and got his ass kicked by the Steelers when the money was on the table. Samesame Fred "The Hammer" Williamson who had Packer footprints up his front and down his back.

Pats by 2 TDs and making it look easy. 2guns

Don't forget Rodney Harrison, i think Freddy Mithcell is going to be scared to go across the middle with hard hitting Rodney Harrison present, he is one hard hitter and isn't afraid to get fined.

I think Defensive lineman Richard Seymore who is the best player on defense and is coming back for the Superbowl is going to be all over Donavon Mcnabb like kj on a donut.

2 great teams but the Patriots are better IMHO, the Patriots are alot more Physical.

cheers

JohnnyK,

Thanks for the barfine. When you in town next. Good game but McNabb needed to scramble more. Maybe next year.

Well it looked like it was going to be pats by 10 but philly managed to get one more TD. But they just didn't have it together like the pats. Both had some blown plays but pats had fewer errors.

Not a great game by any means but a win is a win.

I don't get the Eagles' time management though. 2guns

BigD, you didn't accept my bet by kickoff...you can't accept after you know the result! 2guns

I'll buy you a Heinie anyway coz 'm a sport B)

I was surprised that McNabb didn't scramble as this would have confused the Pats defense and caused them to play closer to the line of scrimmage.

What the hell do I know, I was just glad they made it to the big show.

At least the game was better than the half-time show, A 60+ year old rocker singing songs to kids who weren't even an itch in their daddy's pants when they were penned. Pathetic...if this is what rock 'n rolll has become, we're in deep trouble.
