Best travel agency

I am looking for a reliable English speaking agency in Pattaya. Thus far, sonnyonline.com in Naklua has been very helpful and the owners are Indian so the English is not a problem.

I have used Massic travel for years now and never had a problem. Quite a few times he has also prebooked the exit seats for us.

 

The tourist police are no longer here, they at the other end of Pattaya towards Jomtien. The best guide for Massic travel is they are on the RHS of 2nd road just past the Grand Sole hotel.

I can't help but recommend Kn Boon at LEETOUR@HOTMAIL.COM.

 

 

They are based on Soi Post Office. A quarter way up from Beach Road on the right.

 

I live in LOS but am working away from home so I email him my requirements from wherever I am working ready for my next trip back. He sets it all up, sends me a confirmed E-ticket booking and I pop in when I am back to pay and collect my next return flight to wherever I am off to next.

 

The most recent task was to get me and Mrs Bullfrog to Namibia without having an overnight in J'Burg on either leg because that would have meant staying airside in the shitty Proteas hotel because of visa problems.Equally, baggage had to be checked all the way through for the same reason: we had to stay airside.The other thing was linking airlines coming into J'Burg and out to Windhoek. Both in terms of timing and by a common ticket.

 

As for price, when I first starting using him 3 years ago after a recommendation, I went round a few and he was the cheapest and had no alliance with any particular airline office. Unlike the Indian one at the Big C accross the road behind Pizza hut..Lying, cheating bastards!!!

Is the complex opposite Soi 7?

 

I've used them a few times and found them to be very good. The driver they use for airport pick ups is reliable and doesn't drive too fast. He turns up at your condo or hotel about 10 minutes before the due time.

Try SeaAirLand Travel in Soi Post Office,opposite Pizza Hut if I remember.Two big,and I mean big ! ,Swiss guys run/own it.Excellent English and well connected.

 

Being Swiss ( like Roly ) the tip is only 5 baht which is a bonus.

 

Just don't do what I did and whilst nursing a hangover of Oliver Reed proportions start thinking aloud.

Still managed to put my flight back 4 days,cost 500 baht.

Lido Travel on Beach Road, in the little Soi on the left, between Starbucks and McDonalds, just before you get to Walking Street. Lido Travel is next door to Starbucks. Phet, a Thai lady, speaks better English than most people I have met in Pattaya. She has worked there for years and does complex bookings to anywhere.
