Love me Thai food but would love a good steak or roast dinner occasionally when in Patts.

Any suggestions on places to go?

Not at all......Just stating that certian forums were designed to address certian topics...Pretty clever concept, of course I do understand that not everyone is smart enough to grasp the idea (not you of course). But for those of us that do would appreciate having correct posts in correct forums....Unless of course you enjoy looking for used computers in the automotive section! Don't worry you'll catch on someday! :beer

The Golf Club, Soi LK Metro. Steak nights every Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday. Best Steaks (for the price) in town IMHO. They show you the raw steak before and then cook it on the Weber grill out front.

Only Pattaya or d'you want any rec's in Jomtien? I know where ya can get a damn good roast lamb dinner! Roast tatties, fresh brocolli, 200g NZ lamb, proper garden peas (not those awful imported Chinese bullets!), carrots, very tasty mint sauce and real Bisto gravy 290 baht. Deal? No deal? You tell me........ I like it!

Everyone says the Golf Club does an excellent steak, pork chop or salmon barbecue.

Also, Charlie's on Soi Honey does a great T-bone steak dinner on some nights.

Sorry captain, still feeling my way around the forum. Didn't know there was a restaurant section cos I'm too lazy to look. Anyway its ended up there thanks MM.

Thanks for all the replies, some places for us to checkout. Special thanks to villa for sticking up (not in that way) for me. I don't care what they say about ya , you're good for a laugh. As for your liking for ladyboys, well you could use the motto, as a mate of mine does cos he will fuck anything 'Doesn't matter where it goes, as long as it disappears'

Cherry restaurant on third road, across from Xzyte has great food. Wednesday they have a buffet with a huge selection of meats, probably the best in the city for only 350 baht. My only complaint is, they are short on vegies for the buffet. It's not a tourist place being on third road, it will be full of expats. It looks like most are used to eating in higher end places, most will be wearing long pants, shoes, and shirts with collar. You will find no better food in Pattaya at the price, maybe not even at double or triple the price. But don't tell anyone about it, it's hard enough to find a seat now.

Used to get a great Kobe steak at the Bier-Kutsche down on Walking Street when I lived there.

Haven't been there for years but I think it's still open.
