Just made my first trip with a connection in DXB for a while, had a 3 hr wait between flights

so headed to the only smoking area that I know of in the airport ( terminal 1 gate 123 ish)

Was suprised to find there is now a bar there called the Irish Villiage, smoking allowed, great ambiance,

and so much nicer to the old gas chamber that we all know.

Stella was about £6.40 a pint but so fucking what? my holiday me LDOP :hairout

Might be old news to you but it was new to me and glad of the heads up. In the past I've just bitten the bullet as the smoking rooms in most airports are rank.

Apparently T1 in Manchester now has a smoking area air-side, even if it does mean standing outside.... but at least us smokers now have somewhere to go for a fix before boarding.

There is a bar in T3 as well that allows smoking. It is near the end of the terminal, there were they have to fountain. Close (opposite) McDonalds if that gives you a better orientation)

Belfast International Airport today announced they now have a smoking area inside (at a cost of £1!! to gain admission).

This follows £1 charge imposed last year for pick-ups & drop offs !!

Been taking lessons from Easy Jet I think.

They stated when questioned, when the smoking room is paid for they would review the charges, (don't hold your breath !)

cheers

The bar in T3 is called The Hub. It's situated at the far end of the terminal on the left hand side (upstairs). About £7/$11 a pint but you can smoke :beer Also, they have decent toilet facilities in The Hub so you dont have to queue up for 15 minutes for a piss and shit.
