Since this thread seems to have been revived. I've posted about these guys before.

I have used them many times, so have friends. Haggle, but don't push to hard and you will get good quality at a good price. You do get what you pay for.

Leave plenty of time for alterations so everything is perfect.

Sam has even come to the US (he also has family here)and did fittings/took orders for my co-workers. Everyone was very pleased with the results and the price. Everything was shipped so there were no fittings and some suits needed minor alteration, but over all I would say that even at USA sale prices, everything was 50% of what it should have cost.

Michelle Tailor shop. 5 mins from mike shopping mail. Good material and good working. There are for past 30 years in this bussiness.

I tired to do a search on this forum for a good tailor shop, but nothing came up. I know there are plenty of tailor shops in Pattaya as you can not walk 5 seconds down beach road before they try and get you into there shop. Can anyone recommend a good tailor shop as i want to get a suit made on my next trip.

The BEST tailor in Pattaya is Moon Fashion soi 8 part of the Sunshine Inn hotel. Pop is amazing. I wear suits every day back home for work. Pop knows how fussy I am and always has looked after me for the last 10 years.

Pop's number is 0816393280

If you are having pants made and you expect/want two rear pockets, you might want to mention that to the tailor. Had a suit made at a place more or less opposite the FLB a few years ago. It was made pretty well but the pants had only one rear pocket and it was on the wrong side to me. Don't know if that is a Europe/North America thing or not.

Finding a good Tailor can be a bit hit or miss. Always chose the cloth carefully and make sure that it is the same cloth that has been used to make your garment.

I had 3 suits made up in Pattaya, by the Tailors nearest to the Green Bottle on 2nd road They looked the business, but did not last very long, as I used them for work. But a different story for a dress suit, that might be worn occasionally. But then again, when you look at the cost of having a suit made up, say, in the UK, then I think one can expect what they pay for, albeit labour costs being much cheaper.

Thanks for the recommendation. The tailor I used for years closed recently and I'm looking for a replacement.

Well I know I always found the wallet pocket to be on 'the wrong side' for me in the USA.....I wear mine on the right cheek. Seems sensible being right handed...... has it got anything to do with driving?

This post is probably to late for the poster but I got 3 suits made by the taylor on Beach Rd next to the Tahitian Queen. That was 4 years ago and wear them to work every day and still good. Going over in 2 weeks time and will be going back to get a couple more made as it is about time to replace them.
