You get plenty for your money and its good. I think it was 150 baht. Two nice hot pieces of home made battered fillets and steak fries. Only thing I missed was no coleslaw because its British style.None on the menu but you wont miss It much. I went there around three times and each time it was made fresh. I tried to attach a photo from my phone but couldn't. Youll just hafto take my word for it. Sit out front and you'll get a nice view across the street of a one lady owner operator of a massage parlour.

Tried it tonight. Not too bad really but better is available @ most places.

 

Can't beat the price.

LOL They are considered a delicacy for the favoured customer in many parts of the UK. They even give them names such as scraps or wibits to name but two!

after deep fried fish and deep fried chips deep fried batter just is too oily. Had a few but it reminded me of those that think too much batter makes for bad fish.

As a kid I was often sent to the chippy by my father under strict instructions (which caused me embarrassment) to get the free stuff on top ...ie scraps and pea soup.

They seemed to delight in covering the meal with "scratchings".

As a youngster in the North of England-Manchester, we used to ask for a pennyworth of "scratchings"from the local chip shop.

They are simply the batter, that comes away from the battered fish being fried, and if not scooped away, will make the oil smell 'off'.

You can smell the vendors selling the fried bugs a mile off, because its old oil.

Anyhow, 'scratchings' are a relic of bygone days, and should not be served as part of your meal.

Their curries remind me of 'Vesta' and 'Dinaglas' ready made powders.
