I went back to the Auto Show today after deciding to invest in an external flash. Many of the pictures I took last week had shadows on the face and around the eyes. I also enjoy taking photos of some of my bar fines, and the girls that layer on makeup trying to look lily white will often look like ghosts. Some softer lighting should help greatly.

 

I tried both the diffuser and integrated bounce card but four AA batteries completely drained in less than 2 hours and I was back to using the built-in.

Turns out the Bangkok Motor Show isn't the only one! Now there's a Bangkok International Auto Salon, at Impact Arena until the end of June. Complete with cars, pretties, and a sexy car wash. Admission: 100 baht. Not the scale of the Motor Show but good if you don't wish to fight the crowds.

She's really cute but my favorite is Jane, a Thai-Chinese girl from Chaing Mai that currently lives in Beijing and works in commercials and soaps on Chinese television.

 

 

 

But now I'm heading back to Impact Arena, they're featuring Race Queens from Japan today.

Today featured Race Queens from Japan. It was also Press Day, so I received free admission. They asked for a business card, didn't have one, just told them I was covering the event for pattayatalk.com. The Race Queens had an interpreter. One Race Queen spoke excellent English, but I only saw about 4 farangs in attendence, so I don't think it helped her much.
