It has been very hot during the past few afternoons.  There were all taken from the multi-storey car park of Terminal 21.  Hopefully this will give a perspective to those who do not get up to this end of Pattaya.

After an unpleasant encounter with a Chinese couple at Bali Hai a group of us had a great day out yesterday drinking and swimming while anchored off the Ko Sak beach, the small island just north of Ko Lan. Paying the price today with a nice shade of red on my face and upper body.

Sanctuary of Truth.  Admission is 500 baht.  Quite busy this afternoon.  They do try to get visitors to stay in groups (50 in our case).  I managed to get lost from the group and did my own thing taking photographs.  Quite a lot to get through.

Some Cocoanut tree felling.

I never really look at motor cycles on the roads in UK but over here I find lots of them that are not run of the mill.

I know I have said this before... and I know somebody said that it has something to do with the lens ..... but I'll say it again...The Waterfront Condo building seems to be tilting if you compare it to the buildings surrounding it....

What went wrong at Hooters?  Whilst it was never full to capacity, whenever I passed during opening hours there were always customers there; many perhaps just drinking and 'people watching' on Beach Road.

I expect rents are pretty steep on Beach Rd, so probably not enough customers to cover operating costs.
