I can't male my mind up about that 'Space' building. Is it futuristic and attractive, or an eyesore?

Investment has certainly come to town since post Covid.

I do not know anyone who has stayed or visited the hotel; I think the view towards Wongamat Beach is likely to be better than the view to the front.

I was on Walking Street last week, had a good time.  Doorman wouldn't let me into Pinup at 7:55 so I went over to XS for a beer, when I came back at 8:30 I was lucky to get a table in the back.  The b

A few from Tree Town and surrounds from earlier this evening.

Sanctuary of Truth.  Admission is 500 baht.  Quite busy this afternoon.  They do try to get visitors to stay in groups (50 in our case).  I managed to get lost from the group and did my own thing taki

The pointy bit at the top reminds me of the RAC building on the M6 near Walsall !

During an interview there in '89 I was told that the design is based on the RAC peaked hat !!

So, one could conclude that I think the design of a futuristic Space building in Pattaya is based on a long obsolete piece of uniform from the '80s ........

A small car show on the ground floor of Central Festival.

DSCF9787-Edit.jpgThis, as I assume many will know is situated in front of a restaurant on Second Road, usually accompanied by another prestige car.  By good fortune today the second car had been moved.  Quite a difficult shot as there is a metal grill located directly in front of the car and the rear of the car is in a shaded area.  There were also bright red cones at the side of the car.  Lightroom/ Photoshop have done a pretty good job.

Not the colour one would expect for a rugged pick up.

The above is not my photograph; it was a screen dump taken last night from the web cams.  I expected more damage to the beach from yesterday evening's rain.

Anybody know the background on what the pier in the last picture is meant to have been ?

The derelict, Chittaphawan Monks College.

Worth a visit, if you like taking photos, but take some dog food along with you.
