I have had my Kindle for about a year and a half. Enjoy it VERY much! Finished my 80th book last night. My Kindle has a small keyboard at the bottom which works well. I also puchased a cover that has a built-in light. Runs off the Kindle battery and uses very little juice. Not sure if the cover is still available, but it is a real plus when you don't want to awaken your lady, or you want to use it on an airplane when the lights are off and a really stupid movie is being shown. It fits in a pocket in my travel jacket. No problems with downloading books while in Thailand. Little Roy

Martin, I used to like Cafe New Orleans also. But the last two times I was there the ribs were attached to spine which grossed me out. I wondered what animal they were barbecuing. So I haven't been back. For awhile Tequila Reef had good stuff. But (again) the portions got smaller and the ribs weren't slow cooked. Just heated up and had sauce poured on top. I really enjoy good ribs. Finding good ones' in Pattaya ain't easy. In the States I enjoy the Outback Restaurant near where I live. Wonderful! Little Roy

Mee Suk is on Soi 5 on the right as you walk up from Beach Rd. The place seems to be quite small. No personal experience as it is too close to Soi 4 where I live. Little Roy

So...you believe that arresting a few vendors selling counterfeit goods will end the business in Pattaya? That's like saying the arrest of a few drug dealers will end the drug trade. Ain't gonna happen. Besides, some of those so-called counterfeit goods are pretty good stuff. Some are simply overruns that were done on purpose to fuel the street trade. Frankly, I feel most of the brand name overpriced stuff is a rip-off in the first place. The copies I see are quality made. I rarely see crap copies. Basically I don't like logos. If I can find a shirt with no logo at all I am happy. As it is, I have several well made shirts with small logos that I can live with simply because they are good quality. And they probably are copies. I really don't care. Little Roy
