I used them for a couple of years but after an incident last year I stopped using them...I had been in to see the doctor and she told me what treatment was required, so off I went to pay and collect my package. When the nurse (male Pinoy)came accross to talk to me about my treatment it wasn't what the Doctor had told me. There was then a public arguement with me insisting he went back to confirm and he insisting that he was the professional and I should basically shut up and do as I was told....In the end off he trotted and came back red faced and with an apology saying there had been a linguistic mix up (which is why I mentioned he was a Pinoy.)The mix up? The difference between "Only" and "No" ..... Also they issued me locally produced BP pills at the same price as BPH issued me Oz produced BP pills which also gave a difference of 10 points (130 and 140)..

20 years ago I could see some reasoning in not booking in advance but with today's online booking services like agoda, personally, I don't see the point of walk ins unless you already have a base booked for 2 days then search from there.If you have no time at home you will have at least 1 hour after checkin to find something on line.. I also wonder what the people that do walk in bookings write on their arrival cards "Hotel California, Anybar, Pattaya." ?? My advice is book something based in Soi Buakhao for a few days on agoda.com (MM will probably post a link on here to use). Then wander around to your hearts content finding something that suits you.

Was in RH this morning hoping Bite Me had moved their fridges of wine and craft beers across town. On the way I passed by the old shop as it's part of my walking route but it was in darkness. There was no sign of any Bite Me staff in RH. There was no sign of anything....anything....from the excellent wine and craft beer selection from Bite Me. There was no sign of anything on the menu other than ..as EP put it ...English comfort food.. Fucked if I'll make the effort again but it's the staff of Bite Me that I feel sorry for. Peter's team were so good, such good company, so happy in their roles that I only hope they have found an alternative to this plastic pub which is as fake as Robin Hood himself..

I don't know if it's possible but perhaps they could put a menu ( and girl?) at the foot of the steps so potential customers know what is on offer upstairs....When I have loitered around there a couple of times last week I saw people looking at the RH sign, then look at the menu of the place downstairs (pizza?), then choose to eat downstairs. OK, it was hardly in depth market reasearch but it's what I noticed in a fleeting moment in time....
