Yep..you must understand that it is Taxin logic to fight alcholism by making you buy more...or...making sure those better off can afford to have a leisurely drink in the afternoon whilst the riffraff have to wait for 11am or 5 pm to come around to buy one bottle of saysap degrees to be split between 5 people!!..... Personnally I buy a crate of beer to pump up the volume then buy a bottle...OR if in Tesco Lotus I buy a 5 litre box of white wine and same same for red wine...

Investing 1.4 to 1.5 million baht for 20,000 baht per month
Bullfrog replied to pattayafun's topic in Expat Issues
Too true..what is on offer is 3 times what you would get renting out an apt for the same price..and that is NOT guaranteed..!! -
It's OK I have a tat with LUFC at the top...but it is a bit smudged so the LU looks like TIT upside down....hahahahahahaah This is a brilliant threadfuck...

Hehehe..thought I would bring in a bit of light hearted banter brought on by pure jealousy...and it is top chareon not spec savers..

But surely having a tat of a christmas tree on your back is a bit seasonal isn't it??...Or is it a stick on one and you will replace it with a crucifix for Easter.. BTW nice red bra you are wearing too...

For what you describe I would say yes if it was near a Thai Unversity..say chiang mai, kamphaengphet..nackon nowhere etc etc...no if in Pattaya.. I am now doing out my two studios in Nova Mirage, Naklua..I kept them empty shell for a bit to see what was happening in the market...Rentals are now doing well in Naklua so I have jumped in at what I think is the right time..As an indicator we wanted to rent a place there whilst we did ours up....but they were all fully booked up....

"You can live like a king."
Bullfrog replied to Siam Sam's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
You can live like a king....but not like a prince... -
Yep agree..but my opinion to the OP is get yourself a TW,TG or thai friend that lives in a university city...buy student accommodation and rent that out.....That is the ONLY guaranteed money earner in the accomodation rental business....but you need a local that you can trust with his/her ear to the ground for any sign of financial weakness of any of the existing property owners...it can take years...In the meantime keep your money in the bank!!

Chiang Mai Hotel reccomendation Honeymoon
Bullfrog replied to BillWilson's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
You don't mention where the village is... Further South in Lampang is the following place:- http://www.lampangriverlodge.com/ I took wife and kids there..parked the car up and immediately thought "Oh fuck what have I done"...but the lakeside huts REALLY are done out Western style inside...You can stroll hand in hand around the lake...nearby you can get a horse and cart ride around the local town...and you can take a drive up to the Lampang Elephant centre/hospital.. Don't know if it suits you but we loved it.... -

Where is her dentist???..If it's in Pattaya then I would recommend using www.agoda.com to find a hotel. In another thread I replied that the IBIS has a good deal on at the moment..The same distance to the beach..near bars with music, shops etc...it is also not far from PIH soi 4..If she is being treated there then perfect mate

Need hotel help Xmas and New Years!
Bullfrog replied to eviltwin's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
I know this is not Soi 8 etc but it is still in a good location...I was checking out www.agoda.com and came accross rooms at the new Ibis for 850Baht a night...Now THAT is unbelievable value!!!! Although I didn't check Xmas dates.... -
Hahaha..I had to laugh at this..not because of the advice but because of my own experience..I was travelling BKK to East Africa...got the call in the Business Class lounge for boarding....at the gate at the farthest end of the new terminal..well I strolled along the length of the building..saw the sign for my flight but it wasn't opened so joined the queue with the riffraff...and we all waited...and waited...everything was still up for that gate..even the anouncements...Untill suddenly we were all told that we had to catch a bus to the airplane..........I am laughing hysterically as I type this.. FROM THE END OF THE PIER AT THE OLD TERMINAL!!!! It MUST have been 1 to 2 Km from one end to t'other...or at least seemed like it with a belly full of wine!!

Well if you fly in a few days it's a bit late to change but I fly my sons to LOS every year..In the past it has been Emirates or Thai. This year I saw a cheap Gulf flight so I booked having had excellent flights business class with them. Well !! They said that both legs were aweful. Each stopover in Bahrain they were in the plane for over an hour waiting for pushback...On the way to LOS they actually had to change planes after boarding!!...I was at swampy with the missus for 6 HOURS waiting for them!! If I had 6 hours at a carpark at heathrow I have no idea how much it would cost but at Swampy it wasn't more than a few quid as I remember but it meant a lost night in BKK as far as they were concerned.. They said the food was inedible ( my sons normally eat anything!!) and service really shit...but as far as they were concerned no big deal.. A. Because they were in Thailand B. Because I was paying!!

I am about to move away from my long standing booking agency in Patts for the normal consumer reasons of Price and Service. I intend to use "Music Travel Thailand Co Ltd" advertised on Thai Visa.. Q1. Anybody used them? Q2. Is he ( Are you!) a BM?? Thanks
-
Another disadvantage of these seats is that they keep an eye on how much you drink..They don't want a fat drunken Englishman trying to open the door in time of an emergency ( Or any other time really,,,hahaha) .everybody is different of course but I enjoy the experience every time I fly and like to hoover the wine..Although it has been a long time since I travelled cabbage class!!

Sorry everybody I was being sarcastic..The quote was from the website you directed us to...

DINE FOR 99 (All u can eat 99bt)
Bullfrog replied to Delivery Express's topic in Restaurants and food
In the Thai " All you can eat" places I have eaten at they have two price structures . For empty plates and plates with left overs so you could have: 99Baht if the plates are empty or 110Baht if food is left over on the plates...Stops people having eyes bigger than their bellies... -
I have a mate that lives in CR and have spent many Xmas's there...You state that it was taken near NYE So if this is correct it definately ain't CR...It is too bloody cold for t-shirts!! It also doesn't look like Satahip but thats what I voted for.. If no choice was given I would have guessed Port Dickson south of KL....
