Fair enough we are all different. I had no problem with the Chinese except for the dozens of young ones having fun in the infinity pool on the 31st floor. I dont like swimming with lots of people, they were there first, so I swam in the 3rd floor pool instead. The location suited me, the condo was big enough for me and the occasional guest. But I certainly wouldn't want to live there for a long time. There is heaps of accommodation in the area.

I had a good time in this area on my recent trip. I played pool at the Matador while my lady sang Isaan songs with the band. Met a wonderful woman late one night, she was having a catch up with friends after work. I wont call her a freelancer as she was not out looking for a customer. Jim introduced me to a great woman who runs one of the bars on the north side. Had a great night playing pool, chatting and considering possibilities that were never going to happen due to the circumstances.

I refuse to pay for seat selection. I always check in as soon as they open and manage to get either a window or aisle seat. I dont need to be in the front row but dont want to be between 2 people. So far I have never sat next to a huge person who really should have bought 2 seats. I loved the shows at Angelwitch. But upstairs at Kink every night and the show I saw at Babylon leave it for dead. Not as artistic, no slick choreography, but definitely more raunchy. I am happy with Base. Huge place, 1,030 apartments. They are small but all I need. Good location close to the action in Buakhow and Soi Diana etc. Guest friendly. Lots of Chinese and some Indians but I ignore them and they ignore me. Not had any noise problems. Some of the Chinese girls are really cute. There is an infinity pool on the roof, 31st floor. I will check it out today. Only thing that's weird is there is no reception. When you arrive you wait by the security gate and a lady comes get you. I chatted to a lady on Thaifriendly who said she would pick me up from airport for 1200. We exchanged Line details. Yesterday she was waiting in car park till I came out then picked me up outside entrance 5. No messing around with changing cars. Nice to talk to, small and slimish, face was ok not beautiful, 45 years old which is in the age range I like. I didnt try to bed her as I wanted to wander around pattaya alone on my first night.
