There would be little therapeutic difference with 19 mg. 100 mg is an odd size for preventing heart attacks since 81mg has become the standard. Glycine is an odd ingredient since the average person gets about 25 times that in their everyday diet. It is an unproven anti-stroke amino acid that makes sense in a aspirin/glycine formula. There are studies going back 10+ years saying the combination makes the aspirin alone more tolerable. Still if someone is kid enough to bring in the 100 mg tabs, all is well.

Bangkok Hotel Recommendation
Grandpollo replied to Wanchai Pete's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Patpong is right under the BTS so anywhere on the skytrain line will do. 1000 baht is pretty low for Bangkok though. -
Fly to Siem Reap from U-Tapao , see Angkor Wat and come back.

Disregard 17 arrival, now arriving 16th
Grandpollo replied to streeteats's topic in Meeting - Cost sharing
They need to guess what time on the 16th and of course what month the 16th contains, to work this deal, one supposes. Honestly for 1000 Baht for Mr. T or only 240 for the bus does this system even work, that of the thousands of weekly flights, two boardies wind up arriving such that this works OK? To say nothing of the car trunk with a LNG tank that leaves room for 1/4 of the normal luggage even for one. -
There's the problem then. Australia needs to boot someone out of the G7 and take their place, then it will work.

NEED way to pattaya floating market =D
Grandpollo replied to lovetravelling's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I forgot about the entry fee. So stinky water, overpriced crap that you can get in Pattaya, a trip to get there, and the insult of paying to get robbed. -
Could also just say 2,100,000 vs. the equation for a price. Pattaya is prime territory for a condo bubble so might pay to rent and wait. So many units now and so many under construction, something has to give and that would be price, eventually.

NEED way to pattaya floating market =D
Grandpollo replied to lovetravelling's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
This place has to be one of the most pointless journeys for tourists in Pattaya. Same shit as all the markets like Buakhao, Walking Street etc., for more money. The water is like a swamp or sewer. Busloads of Asian tourists descend upon it as well. And school class trips , just a throng of tools buying nothng at all unique. There are so many better excursions like Nong Nooch than this clip joint. -
Thai immigration is granting 30 days at all border crossings regardless of land or air now. For visa exemption class, not visa on demand class. A tourist visa makes more sense than a border run unless there is a point to the run, e.g. a flight to Siem Reap a few days from U-Tapao airport near Pattaya which now has flights there. The OP needs 60 days, so a single entry visa will do the job, though 59 days might be more accurate.

I went to Big C near Sabai Dee et al, and found nothing at all. Not a size issue but a complete lack of men's swimwear. Lots of shorts but they would need underwear inside except maybe those really long board shorts. I was right on sizes, as the XL men's underwear said 35" on the package. XL large dogs maybe, large Westerners, no way. Then I went to that fancy sporting goods store where there were a few but on sale THB3,290 and 2,800. Who pays $100 for a swimsuit? So I asked the TG to find me one, and she took a pair of sport shorts with her to test waistband size. First stop Mikes, sh

Pacquiao Rios PPV Fight Nov 24 9 a.m. - Who Shows PPV If Any?
Grandpollo replied to Grandpollo's topic in Sports Talk
If you can maintain radio silence for a couple hours it is on Thai channel 7 at noon the same day. Beats trying to go out at 9 a.m. -
I seem to have lost my bathing suit, left behind at the last place I visited, I guess. Where is a good place to buy farang sized suit in Pattaya. An XL I have found with shirts, might fit a slightly larger than average Thai but it is not a North American XL so I suspect the same for swim suits. And a place like Mikes is not too easy to try something on. Cost is not a huge deal because they don't cost that much. But not the Nike or Benneton store either. I wish I knew this because I could have gone to Walmart today.

Not sure a bunch of tourists and retired expat types are looking for many towing bars. Coupling bars and cargo belts neither. I think they'd be rather large and quite heavy as checked baggage.

I bring the ATM card and I don't care about the fees for a few withdrawals, two credit cards, one as a spare, different issuer, for the hotel in Pattaya and Bangkok, and a getaway fund of $5,000 in $500 traveller's cheques which I will never cash unless there's an ATM problem (so far, never an issue at the K-Bank branches with security guards) , and $1,000 US cash which is the universal currency for emergencies. The TC's and cash will get you out of any country to any better country anywhere in the world. To HK or to UK, whatever, if you have to go, you go. When I get home, the money goes

Well I guess in August for me for a November trip , it didn't budge a satang. Though, per the bargirl price discussion on the go now, I wouldn't lose much sleep on a $1.50 price rise on a hotel room either.

Report what progress? Such doubters you are. I have a reservation from Da like the last 5 times by e-mailing the hotel and asking for the FLB rate and they got back overnight and all was well. I will be there on the 22nd and have a reservation as such. And in this case I wrote with a range of dates (I said from 11/15 to 12/12) pending my air confirmation, and she wrote back first and said; On Aug 21, 2013, at 10:00 PM, Pattaya-apartments wrote: Room available for you as usual rate at 1,450 Baht per night Just let me know for your arrival date . With Kind Regards

You don't actually. Just e-mail them ask for FLB rate and pay THB 1,450 not 1,500. I will be there in under a week. info@pattaya-apartments.com and mention FLB rate in the subject line and you're fine. I have only stayed there and never used the site.

Oops, sorry by the post title I thought it was about my ex-wife. One of my doctors swore by Krabi but he was paying $400 plus a night and the first time I went to Thailand the army was evacuating tourists by helicopter from Krabi, not a great promotional tool.

Does the job entail helping the company with written English since all the bolded items quoted above are wrong?

1. Up the hill 5 minutes by Baht bus is a good grocery store in the same shopping plaza as the Rose massage place and the bus to BKK airport. Across from Pan Pan. You can't miss it. Good liquor selection, cider and such, and they sell Pepsi Max which Family mart does not. 2. The RG hotel breakfast is not badly priced. I have the continental which is lots anyway for around $3. 3. They have a bar (now) as part of the redesigned restaurant. I don't drink much , but about the neighbourhood there is not a lot. Up the hill there is one at the top that looks promising, a smaller one a couple

Getting from LK Metro to the south
Grandpollo replied to nkped's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Yes into the oncoming one way street so everyone can crash and die. Fiction. If you are on an LK bus heading to Pattaya South , most turn right and head towards the school and more than you'd think then turn left at the school. You can get an idea by which lane they are using (if they stay far left then they are going to turn left) and there is little harm in staying on, so if it goes towards Jomtien, bonus. If not, get off and cross over to the school. I can tell you that the many times I have wanted to ring the bell and get off near the school, that the TG has said wait and s -
US $350 or so. It was around $800 new nearly 4 years ago. I assume a little more for Thailand due to somewhat higher prices in Thailand for new computers. If you lived there and wanted a larger laptop with Blu Ray to watch movies and surf the web this price in not so bad.
-
If it is set back to the original image then do the buyer a favour and run Windows Update which will install close to 3 years of updates on a 2010 laptop. That could take hours. OK deal if a bit slow but for web and watching movies not a bad price, maybe closer to $350 would be fairer.
