Pattaya Addicts had it for while and got rid of it as people were doings posts that required so many rep points before they would reveal nude pictures or the girls name. It also got abused with friends automatically adding rep point to each other for every post as well.

Are you intending to spend more time in BKK than pattaya? If so then it would make sense to open the account in BKK, otherwise Pattaya is best. Don't know if the BKK banks are are easy to deal with as the Pattaya Branches of Kasikorn.

http://www.cheapoair.com gave the cheapest flights from Pittsburgh to BKK last time i paid but are pretty restrictive on conditions ie almost impossible to change flights or get refunds.

I was charged 500 baht one year after I opened the account so it would seem to be the yearly charge for the ATM/Visa card. It may be cheaper if you only have the ATM card though. Not particularly worried about it as I received more than that in interest,

Candy shop opposite Soi 13/4 on second road would have the shirts, don't know about the shorts and socks though.

It would be cheaper to buy another laptop on Ebay than to buy an external drive. Save your money and buy a new laptop if it is that old something else will go wrong sooner than later. My laptop is from 2005 and as long as it works I will keep on using it but it will be thrown out as soon as something stops working.

Seeing the food carts parked outside all night behind my hotel puts me off eating from them. Do you think that the Thai's will unload the cart's food into a refrigerator overnight or throw food away that is unsold from day before? Having said that I do eat BBQ chicken from the carts when drunk without ill effects so far, but the kebabs always gives the runs.
