Yes, in the present context: For obvious reasons these "no official disks" are not in the pakages you look at. Most of time when you ask for one DVD they look at the title or a reference # on the package and send someone "somewhere" get the corresponding disk. No surprise for me that with this process some mistakes can happen. My answer would of course be No if it was about official (and more expensive) disks...

Why you guys can't stop to use the word "scam" nowadays? For me that's not a scam, just a mistake. For them the price of a Scorpions' disk is the same than a Glee's one. They just have some many different ones, so many references,... Happen to me once for a movie. Just returned it and they changed, no problem. If you are a tourist, best option is to ask them to check/look the disk while in the shop, this way you can check it's the good movie and that you have the good language/subtitle too. I had some surprises already with movies in Chinese

People have 20 years to change their old license to the new European one. Your old licence will stop to be valide somewhere in 2033...

Hi. Can someone recommend a good app to manage daily expenses ? I am not looking for a powerful app to manage my budget or bank accounts, just a simple one to memorize and classify my daily Pattaya spending. There are just too many of them on Google Play : https://play.google.com/store/search?q=expense&c=apps. I loaded the 1st one to try it, Expense Manager who seems good, but if someone know a better one... Thanks.

On the beach last night I noticed they had switched off the road lights just before midnight. I thought it was for the fireworks, but I saw later that WS was in the black... (at least 30-40 minutes?) and that they had a second power cut maybe 1 hour later. Not sure that the agogos, discos and restaurants appreciated that , except the lucky few who still had electricity, like Spanky's. I only walk down to Soi Diamond; don't know the situation in FLB? Except the Walking Street Club (the one with the car on the wall) who had light/electrics (and that night a 200 baht entry ticket), the first

Zero stats on the subject, but clear for me that many (most?) coyotes are rarely BFed. Some of them clearly say they don't want to be BFed. Way enough money with high salary and a few LDs. Misty's is now one of the (mainly) coyotes places. Not suprised that many of the coyotes, even the pretty ones, exit the place when it closes. That doesn't mean you can get all of them if they go in a disco after work...

Hi PSP. There is a big difference between a girl who try her chance by sitting next to me, and a girl who is pushed next to me by a mamasan. I have no problem with the 1st case (at least the girl is willing to talk with me) but I don't like the second. I am far to be a newbie in agogos and I usually can make the mamasan understand it's a "no no" well before she reaches me. This time it was just too fast, just behind the waitress who brought my drink... I agree with tomcat76 comments above too.

Hi. I made a visit in Misty's this Monday night at about 11:30pm A big change: lot of ladies inside! Misty's choose the (Agency?) Coyotes solution too and about 2/3 of dancers were coyotes in more or less the usual attire: bra(s) & short short . Some pretty ladies among them. I counted about 12 customers and 30 ladies dancing in 3 shifts. A good change? Depends of what you like. More girls means a better atmosphere , but coyotes can be a problem about prices (LD, BF,...?). All coyotes seem to have a 5xx number. A bad point: My drink was still untouched when a lady in black (ma

Certainly a good offer, but what about Soft Drinks during this Happy Hour period ?

Hi, 1- Take a bahtbus in front on Big C by showing North (you need one who goes towards Naklua, not one who turn left at the daulphin roundabout) 2- Stop when you arrive Soi 16 (on your left), it will cost 10 baht each. - No regular bahtbus here, but you may find one waiting here - Motorbike taxi at the corner, and they DO know about Sanctuary of Truth - or you can walk, about 1.6 km/20 min 3- Another option is to stop only when reaching Soi 12 as there are more bahtbus going there maps.google.com: BigC to Sanctuary

I think that's Kinaree (or one of the other daytime gentlemen clubs?) who uses this system of ticket for buffet access that you get when you bill reach 150 or 180 (?), a little more than 2 drinks. I remember once a place where the first round at the buffet was made by the service ladies who bring some food to each customers tables. Only when every table has been served the buffet has been opened to customers. Not a bad solution I think. (I hate to be in this kind of rush...)

Smaller plates may not be enough... some guys may have learn the buffet Thai way Thanks to Uncle Albert for his cartoons

It's not specific to this agogo. I witnessed mad rush and rude selfish attitude in all places who have periodic free food: BabyDolls, Private Dancer, Secrets... and even in the recent Sapphire Birthday party too. It's a shame to see how some farangs behave when there is free food
-
Ok: next time you go in Private Dancer look at the left-back corner. From the left: The wall, the Toilet access, the jacuzzi/playmate, a column, the girl access to private area... It's now a playmate area but I think they just covered/closed the old jacuzzi + shower who was there. The video is like the cameraman was against the toilet door.

Pattaya Beach today covered in rubbish
Idefix replied to Chris100UK's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I just come back from a walk along the beach... from Soi 6 There are maybe 2 groups of about 20 city cleaning workers, all dressed in orange, at removing all that trash and putting it in big containers; 2 big orange trucks, a bulldozer, and 3 or 4 smaller vehicles to bring these containers from the beach to the trucks. They were at the level of Mike Shopping and had cleaned the north part of the beach already. I bet the whole beach will be clean well when you will see it tomorrow morning. :) -
Not morphine, there are many of them in Pattaya :) The easiest way to see them probably is to go walk in the national park on the hill, under Pattaya view point (with the Statue Admiral Prince Krom Louang Chumphon Khet monument). Don't make noise and look upper in trees, they are everywere :) No more big parks in Pattaya itself now, but many places with big enough trees still have squirels. I saw 2 of them Saturday morning crossing Soi Buakhao on phone wires not far than Rehab Club I used to see a Thai kind of squirel for sell in markets but looks like they stop selling them. Not sur

Sorry but why ? Because you want to continue to wear the big cozy sweaters and pullovers you bring back from farangland? Many people or organizations consider 24-25°C to be the comfort temperature in tropical areas. 17°C is very cold (for here). You need to put clothes. You spend energy for nothing. And you get a big thermal shock every-time you exit from your room... A strange choice
