BC (boston college) is the latest team to bite the dust. I LOVE IT. They are leaving the Big East conference and started getting their asses kicked late in the season. I love what Syracuse football did to them last fall in their final game, if BC won they would go to a BCS bowl and make millions, Syracuse came out of nowhere and beat the piss out of them and gave them a going away party and ended up costing BC millions of dollars. Back to Basketball I predict Kentucky is the next team to lose, they are ready to start their second round game against Cincinnati, should be a good game. Cinncinnati is a great defensive team. I usually use my ATM in LOS and there is no fee in LOS but a small fee with"Wells fargo" which is my local bank and they charge me $3.00 (120 baht) for using a foreign bank. I've avoided fees by getting a cash advance inside a LOS bank, if you plan to do that, bring your passport with you. chok dee kj

Just today i changed my return date by 4 days. It's a great feeling, i'll be there for about 3 weeks total. When i called Eva the woman asked me to read off the "Fare Basis/Ticket Designator" which is next to your name that is all the way to the left of the ticket, the Fare Basis/Ticket Designator is in the middle of the ticket. After i read that off, she knew it was 6 months return. If i was you, i would call your airline and have your tickets handy. Good luck to you. cheers kj

I think the number is 65 for NFL and 89 for college, not 100% sure of the exact number. The NCAA regulates how many scholarships a college can give out for football and how many can suit up for the game. There is a first and second team and of course a third team which i was on which i called "scrub club". The coaches can substitute players between plays, sometimes the offense will hurry to the line of scrimage before the defense can substitute players and force them to use one of their timeouts. I like College football better but I love the Superbowl, it means my next trip to LOS is not far ahead. BTW I usually won't watch a game unless i have a wager on it. cheers kj

Instead i called my brother in NY. Yes your halftime was alot nicer than mine. Have a ball in LOS, sounds like you are. Nidnoyham, The game is 60 minutes in a game which is about 3 hours on TV, maybe 4 hours for the Superbowl, but actual play is very little, especially the Superbowl. There is 11 players on the field from each team at a time, the referee counts them, if they have too many there is a 5 yard penalty. If there is too little it is because they made a mistake. Actually there was a High School football team last year that played with 9 players on defense, in the off season 2 defensive players died (drowned) and out of respect for the players, they only played with 9 players, they ended the season undefeated and champs, it is a great story and made it on ESPN. American football or European football makes me look tired just watching them. cheers kj

Hello, if i mispell a word it is because i've been drinking all day and night. Great game, i had 10 tickets total going. I LOST: When i bet the Patriots in the 1st (- 1/2) and 2nd -(-3) and 3rd (-1/2) quarters, i didn't bet much but i still lost. I WON: when i had the Patriots at 3-1 (three different tickets) to win the Superbowl, that was my big bet, i had the tickets for about 3 months. I had the AFC at -1 in 2 different tickets and hit them, very nice. A few days ago I bet the Eagles at +7 (to hedge the bet), if i lost that bet i would of been happy because my money was on the Patriots to just win but the Eagles lost by only 3 points so it worked out good. I was going to bet the Eagles to have the lead in the game once at +160 ($100 wins $160) but the line was too long at the sportsbook, vegas is very busy this week. Overall it was a very good day for me. I've always said "it is better to be LUCKY than good" anyday of the week. PUT THAT ON MY TOMBSTONE. BAD NEWS for you anti Patriots fans, the Pats are currently under salarycap. The money i won today paid for alot of barfines and almost paid for my next plane ticket. I bet the Patriots 2 months ago to win it all at 3-1 I teased the AFC (pats) line in the Superbowl down to -1 on 2 different tickets (with some other NFL teams a few weeks ago). I have the Patriots in the first and third quarter at -1/2 in both quarters. I want to bet the Patriots -3 in the second quarter as well. I might bet the Eagles in the 4th quarter at -1/2. I have the Patriots in 8 different tickets, if the Patriots win, I'll be happier than a pig in shit. Misterc, Hello welcome to the board. You are going to have a ball. 1. I usually take cash and and my Visa Check/ATM card. My home bank has a fee but there usually isn't a fee at the ATM or Exchange booth. If you do a cash advance at an Exchange booth or inside the bank, bring your passport. 2. You can travel light and buy clothes over there, there are alot of places you can by clothes amd they are very inexpensive. "Made in Thailand" on 2nd road is a big market with alot of clothes, they even have big sizes, i bought some clothes for my big brother before. Also there is a market on Tuesday and Friday, ask any Thai or bring your favorite TG, she can help you negotiate the right price. 3. I wouldn't buy a digital camera there, the prices aren't any better and probably more expensive in LOS and good luck with returning it if you have any trouble with it. 4. Sorry i never golfed there, i suck at golf. 5. Sabai Lodge is a great place to stay. I stayed at Sabai inn across the soi and loved it, it was very quite which i like. Also it is a short walk to beach road where you can pick up a baht bus. Good luck, you are going to have a ball. BTW March is hot in Thailand. cheers kj

I stayed at the Sabai inn in early 2002. Nice hotel, girl friendly and they do ID checks. The have security boxes behind the check-in desk. I paid about 900 baht and room was big. Good luck. cheers kj

I've stayed there three times and I've checked in with a TG with me before, there isn't an extra fee and I they gave me 1 room key which you need to turn on the power in the room. Never a problem with girls at the RG and i even had 2 girls go to my room before. The RG is run very professionally, great hotel and great staff. cheers kj

I stayed at Holiday Mansion on Wireless road about 4 years ago. The hotel is near the British Embassy. I don't remember what I paid, i think it was about 1600 baht. It's a nice hotel and I got a breakfast buffet in the morning. cheers kj

I was at the mall today and went into a Dillards which is a department store. They also have a Travel Agent in some of their stores, for the hell of it I went to ask the travel agent how much LAX to BKK in March and was quoted $770 (30800 baht) which was about $50 (2000 baht) more than Eva.com but i had to have those tickets in my hands today, talk about an impulse item. I can still upgrade to Evergreen Deluxe on the long haul flight (LAX to Taipei) and I'm flying Southwest to LAX. I've been flying Southwest lately and after the March flight my next flight on Southwest is free anywhere in America that Southwest flys. I'll be in LOS from the 29th of March until the 14th of April, i might see a day of Songkran. cheers kj
