I've bought Accu Vu contact lenses in Thailand. As far as I could tell, they were the real thing and I was entirely satisfied. I got them at one of the optical shops in Central Festival.

I agree. Don't self-prescribe, hypertension and the various meds are too serious to address on your own. But if the doc does prescribe a medication, I would suggest educating yourself on how it works and talking to the doctor about how it affects you. If one makes you feel like crap, there are likely to be alternatives, although with other risks/side-effects.

Many (most?) drugs are available in Pattaya pharmacies without prescriptions. I have no idea whether that extends to narcotics such as morphine and, even if they were, I would have some concerns in the event one had an encounter with law enforcement. Competent medical consultations are readily available. Perhaps see a local doctor and get a prescription?

Unfortunately I don't have an answer but it may help to specify the model.
