A couple that appear to be open and likely in your price range: http://dancewatchers.com/VT2A_12-538_booking_calendar_for_condo_rentals_in_Jomtien_by_dancewatchers.com.html It's 60 sq.m. but is a quite nice corner unit. http://dancewatchers.com/14-673_booking_budget_one_bedroom_VT2A_condo_for_rent.html That's a one bedroom.

Air Canada will be purchasing 61 to 109 737 Max aircraft replacing their narrow body Airbus planes. http://www.cnbc.com/id/101266411 As much as I like the wide body Airbus planes, their narrow bodies seem more like flying Chevrolets. -

I'll grant you that. A man can/should dream.

Assume, for a moment, that most of them are GTGs, as I'm sure most of them are. Then consider how much you would spend trying to get next to one of them. Pattaya is a bargain.

I tend to be a morning person in some critical ways but I rather doubt that would hold true if I had stayed up all night. -
General Election - Impact for Tourists
nkped replied to CheshireTom's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I'll be about a month in to a 3 month stay. Probably won't plan anything which would require me to stray far from home, sweet home in Jomtien on Ground Hog's Day or on the Feast of St. Blaise just to be safe. -
Getting a little closer to the point, I have seen a couple of Thai restaurants in the Pacific northwest do quite nice curried salmon. Unfortunately, the one in Anchorage is no longer open.

What happen to the go to last post star?
nkped replied to Fornicator's topic in Technical problems or questions.
Perhaps your browser isn't playing well with your operating system. That's a common occurrence with Chrome and Windows 8. Try reloading the page to see if the star/dot appears. When Microsoft has been particularly active screwing up modifying Windows, you may have to reload a couple of times to get all of the features to appear. -
May be misreading D's post, but he seems to suggest the Thai flight was airborne when Suvarnabhumi was closed. If that was the case, it wouldn't be too surprising that the national carrier could get clearance from the Navy and immigration to land at Utapao. It would be interesting to know what happened with the next scheduled Thai flight to BKK out of LAX.

Hash browns would be more likely.

I understand the concern, but the only times I have had credit card numbers go walk-about were in the U.S. and Canada. Last time, I had used the card at a Hilton Hotel in Portland, Oregon and hadn't used it at all for months before that. A week later, the bank called me to ask about charges in Louisiana.

Coming soon to a check-out line near you, cashiers trying, unsuccessfully, to scan bar codes on smart phones. The phone owner, inevitably, is astonished that this bit of technology doesn't quite work as advertised.

The Limo Pattaya says, on their web site, that they have Hiace vans available. Looks like it would cost 1,800 baht to get to Pattaya. You would have to hoist yourself up a step or two.

Some Agoda reservations are refundable, others aren't. It's in the fine print. If it is refundable and you notify Agoda in the time required, they are very prompt in processing.

By dumb luck, I got one through a credit union which charges no foreign transaction fee and is competitive on the exchange rate. Try to avoid using cc's for most smaller purchases because many businesses will bump up the price to recoup the fee they pay on a credit card transaction.
