  1. Before buying bear in mind that new 3D TVs will be coming on the market soon (if not already) and the prices of these other TVs should drop quite a bit. But then again buy something today you nearly always find it somewhere else cheaper the next week or day.
  2. I was waiting for the punch line but it was 4 mins of same, same.
  3. I see they got tomatoes and baked beans on top as well!
  4. Cool so if I buy 2 cartons of King Browns between 2 and 5 that would be fine hey!

  7. OK so why so bloody expensive in Thailand Fondles???? Cheaper labour etc.... I bought over a Baby Weber a few years ago (in suitcase) to leave in the house up in the village, but by the time I got back the family had F'd it anyway.
  8. Sorry to thread fuck the OP, but I always wondered why BBQs are so bloody expensive up in Thailand. We can get a decent 6 burner down under for about $500 (15,000 bahts). Is it the actual jets, the stainless steel or what that makes them so expensive? I wonder how much they weigh and how much to stick in BIG suitcase and pay excess baggage maybe? Kev
  9. For Patonng try C & N Hotel (not resort) - not bad place and pretty good location.
  10. Ooooooooo now that is gonna get a reply from you know who
  11. None, flogging a dead horse in my opinion.
  12. Got back last Wednesday, yep will be going direct with Thai next year. Might cost more but be a bloody lot quicker and more comfty. The passport/immigrations in KL LCT must be one of the slowest on the planet.
  13. Definately guest friendly, I've taken 4 or 5 back with me. Hey don't get carried away I'm not that good they were the wife's friends but great fun nights anyway. Cheers, Kev
  14. I'm flying AirAsia next week PER-KL, rhen KL-BKK and vice versa a few weeks afterwards. So far they have changed the time on the BKK to KL flight to an extra 2 hours, which really didn't bother me as we are staying in Kl for a couple of days. The clincher was when they cancelled my KL to BKK flight and put us on a later flight, which would have mean't staying 6 1/2 hours at bloody KLL airport. Anyway I managed to change to an earlier AirAsia flight but because it was operated by Thai AA and not Malaysia AA (got me stuffed) it costs me an extra $250 AUD for two people to make the change.
  15. No safe in renovated rooms, but I think extra 100 Baht for reno room, but looking at web site they don't have separate prices so maybe all the rooms have been rennovated now. Pool on 3rd floor, not huge by any stretch of the imagination but got refurbished last year as well. See site for more: http://www.baybreezepattaya.com/
  16. Seeker did you stay in one of the renovated rooms or not, from the photos looks like not? Worth the extra 100 baht to stay in renovated room. I will be here with the mrs come late Nov. Cheers, Kev
  17. Quite happy with the suggestions provided including the bolt to the floor safe, but what is the location you are looking at? That is a major factor when I choose a hotel besides price.
  18. Come on Joe he doesn't need any encouragement
  19. Hehe any prizes for being the first to get disqualified!
  20. 1 googol or 1 to the 100th power
