  1. Don't forget the necklace grab n go's I think there is a bit more of a little Thai teen gang presence in tourist areas ( in all of Pattaya as well ) than before but if you use common sense i don't see any problems
  2. Just a guess but the probably the pics were taken not long after he bought it
  3. David Gray at East Coast Properties in Jomtien. Right next to Shennegans
  4. Looks like the old Bamboo Bar. If that is the case it after soi Khao Noi bends around and is on its way to soi Khao Talo, Almost right across from Bees Nees
  5. On a thread like this i of course expected some negativity, no worries VP178 that was pretty funny :) Gary lets not turn this into another one of "those" threads Cheers
  6. The owner is currently considering an offer at 9.25 mil but feels doubtful the potential buyer will come up with the funding. I do think that is fairly motivated and negotiable :)
  7. I have heard a lot of good things about this place. We ordered pizza from American Pizza Factory whick was ok. I have heard the sandwiches are great but the pics look aweful. Yes they do need Evil out there.
  8. Understood Jacko. I specifically left out certain details and pics simply to avoid what Fondles has brought to the table...negativity and ignorance. He has not seen the property, only one camera angle so basically he is talking out of his ass. I understand advertizing on the forums are bound to get these types of people commenting which is why i kept things to a minimum. Someone actually interested and in the market for a house and considering the Jomtien Beach area where this is with in their budget please contact me at the details in the OP, shit talkers with no life and nothing better to do well....go on then
  9. While i admire the research i do also pity the lack of any real life. Just goes to show your ignorance as you have not even seen the property, the pic is just to give an idea, you have to see it to understand and appreciate, but thank you for the bash. Most helpful to me and other Bm's I specifically left out certain details like mentioned above for the reason of trying to avoid negative comments - like yours above - and let actual interested people contact me directly. If you understand the difference between a Thai kitchen and a western kitchen then you can appreciate the fact that you can make any kind of western meal you desire and the fact that it is outside and separated from the house -- i.e. no odor -- should be looked at as a plus, especially when the missus wants to start frying fish and making pla laa. This is my thread and i would like to keep it clean of trolls and nay sayers. If you are interested or know someone that is interested in buying a house in Jomtien Beach and the price is with in your budget please contact me at the e mail in the OP, otherwise please leave it!
  10. @ shit happens: go on entertain me and the rest of the troops and tell us all in your expert opinion what it should be priced at @ Jacko: If you are interested or know someone that is email me and i will send on more details
  11. House for sale in quiet village in Jomiten. 2 story 4 bed 3 bath, 5 air con units less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. The village provides 24 hr security with easy access to Sukhumvit, Jomtien Beach, schools, and shopping. The owner is motivated to sell and is asking 10 Mil THB ONO. To arrange a viewing interested parties email: Brian7seas@gmail for more details.
  12. Have to disagree with above posts. There's is no reason in all of Pattaya to pay a cover to watch any sporting event no matter how big it is. This will set a trend for Bm's to bitch about for years to come. I have watched to superbowl at Tiggs for the last 4 years. No cover, great breakfast, awesome food and 50 baht bloody mary's for those that want to drink that early or late. Many stick around and the early morning festivities usually extend into the noon hour. My bill between my food and drink, a few for the staff looking after me came out to around less than 600 baht, and it was my choice, not some forced surcharge by the bar 400 baht to see what the bar doesn't even pay for and what i can see at home for free??? Those that feel there is some kind of bargain there are probably the same LDOP's that change this town for the worse. The real worth while operators that understand this town and aren't just here for the short term for a quick baht will understand this. Reading the thinking of people in their views of Pattaya has really got me thinking...
  13. In the 10 years i have been using True/UBC every major fight both boxing and UFC PPV's haven been available for free to gold and platinum members. 400 baht for a ticket, i have 2 words for that one starts with an f the other ends with 2 f's. It will probably be on Thai tv as well, maybe just not with english commentary
  14. I highly doubt mongers are flying in just for this festival, the majority of tourism over this weekend will be Thai's and i can't see them filling up the beer bars and gg's. Bars will remain the same as if there was no festival, traffic however will still suck
  15. It has been years since i have been there. Nice 2 day chill out though. Back then you could rent atv's and explore the inner part of the island, i'm not sure about now. there was one main bar towards the center of the island, probably a few other little watering holes i don't know about. i would bring your own "entertainment". Ate on the beach at night and watched a fire show
  16. The international music festival dates are March 20-22 which is Fri-Sun. Traffic will suck big time. Here's a video from i believe Bali Hai pier.
  17. It has always been hit and miss for me. I have stopped going because the service got so bad
  18. While this is turning into a breakfast thread i'll chime in and say Punch and Judy do a nice 99 breakfast deal as well. I'll post a pic next time i go in for breakfast. I will also -- for the sake of the title of the thread -- ask if they will show the fight. I believe Lion Pub should have it as well but i rarely go in there. To MGDN while Irish Rovers and the LK area may be closer to you it also may be more crowded, bars i have mentioned in this thread are all along the soi 17 area but at that time of morning as you know an extra 5 min travel time at most
  19. Great report, thanks for the info, i have been wondering about this place. Do you know by chance if they have a pediatric center, or proper dermatology department there?
  20. I can see how this would apply to a foreign owned unit. What about those in a Thai company? Wouldn't the yearly audit and roughly 15K of taxes cover that?
  21. Tigglebitties will be surely putting it on,
  22. Good point!. The only advantage there would be you will have to be paid back what it says you lent the company before the new owners of the company can legally sell the house. At least you get something back out of the deal
  23. Was in there once about a month ago and was not impressed. I may have caught them on a bad day, will give them another shot at some point
  24. One way i was told about by a lawyer was to have your Thai wife form a company with out you. When it comes time to buy you come in as one of the lenders along with a bank. Although your name is nowhere involved with the company, which may scare some, that it what makes it legal. Because you are a legal lender the chanote can't be transferred in a sale until you are paid off by the Thai company, which of course isn't going to happen because that is your safety net
  25. No that is not how it works. You call them and they call you back with a voice prompt. Choose English then it will ask you to enter the number you would like to call. They deduct the money the same way they as they do your sim on a regular call or sms.
