Having been a team coach driver for both Union and League teams i can tell you Rugby League players are a lot better behaved!!!

Hmmmmm... the union players do seem to take the "male bonding" bit a bit too far. I once drove a coach load of RU players down to Twickenham for an International, it also turned to be a stag weekend. On the way back they all insisted on stripping off for the last 50 miles on the way back home.

One trip I lost a nose pad on my specs whilst on a trip up to Chiang Rai.... spotted a Top Charoen shop and went in to see if they could do anything with the specs. They replaced both nose pads whilst I waited and was out of the shop within 10 minutes.

Don't know if this has been posted before...... but I've got a compilation of Thai MP3 music in the car and this one is on it I wouldn't kick her out of my bed!!!

Excellent report RhinoTusk. Visited Chang Mai for a weekend last year and did the drive up to the temple on Doi Suthep.... Now that was an experience!!! Didn't get to sample the night-life, got dragged around the "Night Bazaar by Mrs Fiend instead.

If you want to sample some Thai lager before you make your "newbie" trip you can buy Singha and Chang in the UK. I used to be a "real ale" drinker until I made my first trip to Thailand... I've hardly touched the stuff since getting a taste for Thai beer.

If American Football is so great then why isn't it a global sport? And before you accuse me of being a softy "soccer" lover I prefer Rugby to "soccer" which is a hell of a lot more of a physical game then American Football.

If it's just me and the other half travelling I always go for the pairs of seats on the last 4 rows at the back. If my daughter is going with us always book 3 together and never in centre where Emirates have the 4 abreast. I much prefer travelling in the A380's but have to suffer 777's to and from Dubai if we fly from Newcastle and if we fly on the 1st flight from Manchester when returning to Manchester I always book the A380 flight back.

Everybody sees the negative side of the "Junta" yet since they took control of the country they have made efforts to correct some of the mess that's happened over the last 6 months or so, like compensating the farmers owed by the "Yingluck Rice Scheme" Well done to them for this World Cup news!!!!

There is definitely the potential to have a second A380 rotation to Manchester instead of the current 777/A380/777.

My upcoming trip corresponds with EK374 DXB-BKK changing over to A380 from Boeing 777.... and I'm on the first day A380 operating the flight. Now all I need is for Emirates to change the early morning flight from Manchester (EK22) to an A380 and I'll be a very happy chappy!!! Sadly for me though in November it's still a 777

Just had another email off Emirates with "special" fares for booking by 2nd of June...... This time the prices haven't gone up. Just checked my upcoming trip..... worked out £200 more than what i paid for the flights I wanted but cheaper if I went with different flights , and for my November trip came in at £13 cheaper per person for the same flights.

The banning of smoking in works vehicles was part of the legislation when smoking was banned in public enclosed spaces.

And I'll be in town from the 17th June as well.... Perhaps we should have a Mods meet at Babydolls!!!
