A350 Production has started!!! I won't make a BigD prediction about when it will fly or when first delivery will be...... But it's nice to see production has started.!

And some photos Around 10000 people turned up to see it arrive. Shame about the Cathay Pacific dinosaur taxiing past the spectator viewing area just as the Emirates A380 was landing. I noticed that they used A6-EDL, their newest A380 in service!!! Using the A380 on the Manchester route give a big increase in capacity without having to add an extra daily flight. Well done Emirates!!!!

The engine was on a test bed........... getting tested. Would you rather an engine fail on a test bed or in flight. You obviously have little or no idea about testing. Testing is not only used to ensure something works, but how long something will work for before failure - from these figures maintenance schedules can be planned.

Shouldn't Boeing perform "Quality Inspections" before actually joining the assemblies together? Yet again Boeing use the slippery shoulder technique to point the blame at somebody other than themselves.

Sorry to hear about the problems Ron. It is a shame you have had to close. I enjoyed the experience of running my bars ( New Plaza then Soi 9) until we had a change of plans. Looks like we made the right move since Soi 9 has since closed down. Good luck for the future...... whatever you decide to do.

Not quite old chum.......... at the end of the first day Airbus had accumulated 122 orders!

Airbus did win the contract........ then, surprise surprise, it was put out to tender gain.

And Boeing offered cushy jobs to some of the procurement team to get a better chance of winning the award - and got caught out. Things like this happen throughout industry......... worldwide.

But you called it "the one true working class sport" when but reality is that it is not....... The EPL is run by the "big" money.... and it has been ruined by the likes of Sky pumping in huge amounts of money - most of which is being used to pay over-hyped and over-paid players.... Do you really think a player is worth over £100K a week for playing 90 minutes??? These ridiculous wages won't stop unless everybody quits paying Sky Sports for the privilege of watching 22 men kick a football around a pitch... I work with many fans of Man U, Liverpool and others...... but have they ever been to watch them play..... NO!!!! They watch em on Sky Sports!!!
