  1. This week met one of our American managers - the company I work for has been taken over by a Euro-American consortium and they are wanting to bring in American practices into the company..... They now want to talk about our Terms and Conditions and they are going to have big fight on their hands when it comes to renegotiating them. They seriously think the workforce will give up the majority of their allowances in exchange for the chance of a bigger bonus. They also want to re-organise shift patterns, increase mobility and make loads of other changes...... And they seriously think it can all b
  2. Nice to see my taxes being put to good use........ I would rather they are used on EADS than paying out dodgy expenses claims by politicians.
  3. Oh dear.... so it is still living up to the Nightmareliner name.
  4. And the 747-8 program is highly unlikely to recoup the program costs due to it's limited appeal to the market.....
  5. I see Boeing have been a bit quiet about the 747-8 order book being reduced by 2 in January after Guggenheim Aviation Partners reduced their order from 4 to 2..... And Boeing are already trailing Airbus in orders for this year
  6. The company I am working for is being run by a consortium lead by an American company. They have been given a long term contract with a set budget to work to, and any profit for them has to come from savings they cab make within that budget The idea they are pushing at the moment is to achieve 6 years work for the cost of 5. The only way they can achieve this is by reducing their biggest cost - labour. For a start they could do thing like kick out contractor companies who charge them ridiculous figures for simple jobs..... like replacing 10 showers at a cost of £20K for the job, or £50
  7. Blooming heck..........BigBunky has finally managed a "Quote"
  8. It seems like BigBunky's lost his dummy!!!! Funny how everybody else seems to be able to use the "quote" feature without problems, but the concept seems a little bit too advanced for the BM who brags about having all the latest and greatest gadgets.
  9. And if you don't agree with what Europeans post about America and American companies, you call it Anti-American!!!
  10. He cut and pasted from wikipedia.... but BigBunky doesn't know how to use the "Quote" function, or use links!
  11. Threadfucking yet again.... What has King Leopold got to do with Boeing?
  12. Thread-fucking yet again BigBunky........ what has WW1 and WW2 got to do with commercial airplanes?
  13. Anything and everything? Let me see..... Boeing and Pontiac Vibes...... yes...... Anything and everything...... not quite!!! I have owned and driven Fords for 30 years.... I don't knock them. Admittedly not quite up to the quality of my Porsche, but I still own a classic Ford. I have also owned a Citroen GS, not a bad car, but it was let down by Citroen using poor alternators. But you seem to take every opportunity to knock anything European.
  14. Yet again you have a dig a European engineering and manufacturing. Did you know Citroen were World Rally Champions again this year.... A title they have won 5 times out of the last 7. So their cars can't be that bad!!! Do you go hunting the net looking for every single Airbus mechanical problem? Airbus aren't alone in having problems... So do Boeings......... Was on an Emirates 773 bound for BKK and as the pilot taxied out for take-off they found a problem with the aircraft and deemed it unsafe to fly, good thing it happened before we took off!!!
  15. Be prepared for floods in USA tomorrow as the BigBunky, Mr Magoo, Scallywally and the Boeing Fanboys start wanking like crazy over the webcam show of the first flight..... They'll all cum within seconds of takeoff! :wanker
  16. All the Boeing fanboys will be sitting in front of their PCs wanking like crazy over the Nightmareliner for the next couple of weeks!!!!! They went crazy over the news of an order for 5 747-8i's from Korean Air.
  17. Why don't you tell us.... you're an expert at thread fucking!!!!
  18. I guess you classify me as one of your knockers. So why am I knocking you? Perhaps it's because of being involved in a family coach business with a lot of experience in airport transfers, that I know what is expected from customers. My brother built up his business from running a 16 seater minibus and a private hire car on airport runs to having 12 coaches working for national tour companies. Customers expect pick-ups on time, drivers to be safe and courteous and that their trip is made with the least possible hassle. Unfortunately, looking at the comments of some of your custome
  19. Surry - what make and model of car were you picked up in?
  20. In a 777 always try to get those seats at the rear, ut it still feels claustrophobic.
  21. Big improvement on the Emirates 777s in economy class. The 777s feel claustrophobic in comparison.
  22. A380 first delivery was delayed 20 months. Didn't you brag the Nightmareliner would fly in 2007? Boeing are still having problems, and it still hasn't flown. Boeing are still claiming it will fly this year and yet the wing fix design hasn't been completed or even proven on the static frame. With only 9 1/2 weeks remaining this year it is looking less and less likely.
  23. Think the same can be said for most Europeans engineers. And if you consider that Fords global motorsport involvement actually is the European operation, then it sort of puts the American achievements on the global stage into perspective.......
