English women in Pattaya?

Hi,

 

I've spent quite a while looking at various sites about Bangkok and Pattaya and although I've learnt a lot, I've never seen any mention of a guy taking his Mrs to Pattaya..........yeah, I know, it's like taking coal to Newcastle!

 

So my question is this, although I am extremely broad-minded, will I stand out like a sore thumb in Pattaya? Do blokes actually take their wives there, or is Hubby going to look a total tosser for bringing the wife? If wives do go to Pattaya, is it ok to go to the bars or do they get "hit"on too?

 

I'd be grateful for any advice as we're about to book flights

One thing is for sure in Pattaya. There is something for EVERYONE. Pattaya is not just a sex tourist destination, but it is a major one. Keep an open mind and you will be fine. Anyway, Pattaya is just plain fun. If you are thinking of going to bars, you are very welcome at any of them, I am sure. Will you get hit on? Probably. Most of the bargirls would hit on anything that moves.

Unless you and your missus are going to join in the fun I wouldn't come to pattaya, if you are swingers then you will get a great welcome from all concerned but if the wife is at all stand offish forget this place as its not for the squeamish, or the prudish, as it is basically a giant brothel with many different rooms, almost none (none that I know)of the bars are not into it in some way or other either having girls to BF or being full of guys with their current bar fine , and it's definitely an in your face sort of place.

some just wonder around and look, others enjoy diffrent venues.

if you can take your wifey to a strip bar back home without any problems, you'll be ok, if not then i'ld avoid pattaya in particular and stick to bangkok.

nothing worse than having all "that" available and not getting any of it and having a pissed off wifey too and not even getting any from her.

I wouldn't worry about her and what people think, but what about you, can you stand it. I mean it is like being a kid in a candy store. I have seen many guys with a western wife in tow some of them look very hungry walking past the bars. Have fun.

I agree with Torranova. Stay in Bangkok. There are 2-3 areas where sex is in your face, but they are more or less obscured. In Pattaya, they are EVERYWHERE.

 

Other than going bowling, go-cart racing, or other tame things. Sex is everywhere – on Autobuses, grocery stores, beaches, with young, good looking women who are willing and available for a small service charge.

Bring your wife and enjoy...My wife and I visit Pattaya for 6 weeks every winter and it is hard to say who enjoys it most. She is welcome in all the bars, day and night, and is a hit with the bargirls. She spends a lot of time talking with them with a dictionary, she learning Thai and viceversa.

 

She loves the beach and sun and of course the food from street stalls to fine restaraunts. And while she spends considerable time at spas like The Beauty House it gives me plenty of time to visit Soi 6 or other massage places.

 

Bars such as the FLB or Blues Factory or Easy riders or We Are The World offer great music and great people wathing opportunities.

Depends on the situation.

 

Pattaya:

-The wife does not care what you do.

-The wife likes to partake in the action.

-You plan on doing some covert ops :). I found much more competition for afternoon s/t on Pattaya.

 

 

Phuket:

-Beach/diving/sailing/jet ski, cleaner ocean & beaches.

-Much more scenic.

-The night life does not really get hopping till after 11.

-There are more young people in Phuket so the girls can afford to be a tiny bit more selective.

-The girls in Patong REALLY hastle you for lady drinks late at night.

 

Don't get my wrong, there are a million girls in Phuket and you can still find anything you want. It just seems like I had to work at it harder. Also, if you don't partake in the P4P scene, just be back at the hotel by midnight and you will miss most of the action and won't feel so bad.

 

There seem to be more Ladyboys there than Pattaya (at least there was for Loy Kathrong).

 

If I go back to Phuket, I just might bring a girl with me or find one for the time I was there.
