A guided tour of the Rockhouse

Recommended Posts

I can report on the rooms as being very nice (and extememely quiet even through the bar stereo is nice and loud) and big. The only downside was the water pressure in the shower was pretty poor, even though they had a guy there twice to work on it. I stayed a week at the Rockhouse in the middle of june. The girls who work there are all nice and some very cute and do-able (I did). There is a restaurant across the soi that has excellent falang food, I had a great lamb shank and crepes suzette for dessert made at the table. Lolitas being a few doors down was also nice and convenient. I'd stay there again, no problem.

how you doing , im glad you enjoyed your stay with us , though of course i was away during your stay and didnt get to meet you.

the water pressure has been restored to its former glory now and believe it or not here is the reason why it faltered , first of all we have 3 water pumps serving the building , on inspecting to find out the problem , one of them was missing, in other words somebody has entered the common roof space and stolen a water pump.lol

Mulphy, I know this isn't funny losing out on a water pump but only in Thailand would they get up on the roof and steal a water pump instead of buying one!!!!~!

Mulphy,

I considered staying there but honestly with taking different women home every night - change the sheets daily! Charge more for the room of course, but change the sheets. I wouldn't want my lady of the night putting her ass on last nights dried juices.

Sorry. I am not like some who seem to have an axe to grind against you. My criticism is not personal. When I return to Pattaya, I will check out your bar and get aquainted. I can't understand these Mulphy haters. It makes no sense to me to be hateful toward other boardies.

I suppose I am a hotel kind of guy in the fianl analysis.

hi there ,

despite me spelling it out several times , on various threads , people still dont seem to get the policy with regard to bedding change at the rockhouse.

so i ll try one more time.

the bedding at the rockhouse is changed at our cost 1 time per week.

there is constantly a full change of bedding in your room , that you can change any time you like.

alternatively , you can request our house cleaning staff to change the bedding as often as you wish at your cost.

now from where im sitting , anyone who does as you say , and has a lady lying in last nights conquests juices, does so by choice , as the facilities to have clean bedding at all times are provided for you.

nobody needs tell people how often to change their socks , or pants or shirts , so nobody should need tell you when you need to change your bedding.

you should know yourself.

Thanks Mulphy, youv'e got cool looking place here, now I am divided about where I want to stay, I usually crash at the RG because of the pool, Ive not stayed in the 'action' before, and I still like the idea of a pool, but RH looks pretty good to me.

I normally only come to LOS in low season, but this could change this year or the early next year.

I now have the RH on my list of possibilities, I will be in touch with RH via your website.

Thx SOLO.

Hi Alex, like the look of the rockhose despite some critisism from certain BMs, but I have one slight concern, the apartment directly above the bar..room 1 I assume, would there be a problem with music noise there?

cheers

Mulphy, I emailed the Rockhouse about 4 months ago asking if there was any accommodation available for the whole of September, I didn't hear nothing back so i figured you were full and booked the Eastiny Soi 7, shame really because i really like the look of your rooms and the area your in.

Maybe next year.

Great place. Is there any local hotel/motel that will allow us to use their pswimming pool even if we have to pay for it?

Teelack,

The Areca Lodge in Soi Diana used to allow outsiders to use their pool. Think it was 200 baht and they also provided a towel.

Hope this helps.

Walk a couple of hundred yards to Mikes shopping mall, get the lift to the 10th floor and pay 80baht

to use their big pool on the roof :D

sorry gents , this is the first ive looked at this thread for about a year since i first posted it .

i am not usually on pattaya pages these days as i now run my own forum and spend all my time on there.

i think ive logged into pattaya pages about 3 or 4 times in the last 6 months mostly only to advertise an event and the one time i did get involved in an ongoing thread , i just got the usual abuse from the usual abusers which of course didnt exactly encourage me to be a regular poster here in any case .

the rooms are all recently freshly painted and are well maintained for our customers comfort .

and there are still vacancies available this month as pointed out in the other discount offer thread i made a bit earlier .

pretty much full october , same november , december nearly full especially in the last week or two and january is almost full too , february half full and pretty easy to book after that , we are usually booked up months in advance .

apologies if i didnt reply to anyone , but i can be contacted via the pm facility .

for the last poster , the rooms at the rockhouse are well sound proofed and noise is not a concern for residents .
