Where to get a good pizza

Recommended Posts

There's a little place off of Soi 7 behind were Amazing Paradise bar used to be. I've probably only had pizza in Patts from 4-5 places, but theirs was the best to me.

I guess just try some of the places the members have suggested here and then just hit every joint you see while in town. I'm no pizza connoisseur of pizza so I might be a bit off with my pizza tastes.

Okay okay you Nonce, the best pizza I have had in Patts was from Stone Oven on Beach Road, Junction Soi 6.

Another good one was had at an Italian Restaurant in Jomtien on the Beach Road, junction with soi that has the Immigration Office.

Enjoy :(

In other words, every restaurant and every stall has great pizza and there is no such thing as a bad pizza in Pattaya, kind of like Pad Thai.

It's great coming upon the gourmet section of the forum unexpectedly.

I had a lousy slice of cardboard at Pattaya Pete's Beer Garden a few month's ago. I'll give him another try next month when I breeze into town.

What they charge for Pizza here is just way too much :allright

Apparently in Sihanookville Cambodia they have a special Herb Pizza available which is quite popular :D

In Cambodia, you need to try the 'Happy Pizza'a'. After a couple of pieces you don't need to wonder just what the 'Herbs' are once they kick in.

Italy has the worst pizza closely followed by America

A lot of people seem to agree with you except that they stipulate the best Italian pizza in the world is in Pattaya. You agree with that?

I've eaten pizza from a few places in Pattaya and the best I'd consider mediocre if I bought it in Philly. I could damn near say the same for almost every restaurant in Pattaya.

But I would be fucked trying to explain how to get there.

That's the bad news, the good news is I'am arriving there for 9 days on Saturday.

Will make a point of working out directions.

Watch this post next Tuesday.

At 2am I got at good pizza from here but compare the price to other food you can buy in Pattaya pizza is expensive, considering it is a very basic thing to make.

Yes, but the big problem is cheese. Thailand doesn't have cheese, and imported food of any kind is very expensive - so pizza is expensive. The cheaper the pizza, the more inferior the cheese. Down at the bottom rung like in your photo, the guy is using cheese tossed together from powdered milk in some Bangkok or Chon Buri factory and even then you wouldn't make a sandwich out of it.

  • 4 weeks later...

Green Isle Foods of Ireland (duh) fired three workers because they were looking at pornographic email on company computers during work hours. And now the workers are on strike for the right to watch pr0n.

I think that's disgusting. That is way WAY over the top - beyond ridiculous.

Who the hell thinks Irish can make pizza?

Thanks Conan O'Brien.

Never understood this given that Pattaya is supposed to be so farang orientated.

The pizzas in Pattaya are completely tasteless and clumsily made and you get charged something like 100 baht for a single slice.

The reason is that the ingredients, especially the cheese, are imported, and imported food has very heavy duties. So now you understand.
