Ok so i have gotten help with how much money i should bring and with what hotel to stay in so far.

Now i need to know WHEN to go.

Im planing on going 1 month and i can take my vacation whenever i want to.

I don´t like when its too freakin hot.

Below 35 degrees Celsius would be apreciated.

How is the rainy season ? does it rain non stop or what ? is it possible to have a good time during the rainy season ?

Are there people from this forum there all year ?

I would like to meet someone that can show me the scenery on the spot, not only by vids.

So who is up for showing a young (kid?) around ?

Cheers people.

the coolest 3 months of the year are december, jabuary and rebruary, they are also the dryest months.

wet season is also fun but can get hot, although not that often over 35c either

there are bms there at all times of the year, so dont worry on that count

call into flb or cherry bar or go on one of the crawls and you are bound to meet one or more of them

Been here 5 days first time - feels like a month of fun already - rain here is a 5 to 10 minute affair and very welcome as it cools down nicely - met so many BM's who have been frikkin awesone - just bring ur dick and a positive attitude and your in heaven on earth.

Cherry bar tour (hammer is top fella)- FLB bar ( I'd like to bar fine them all) and meeting up with fellow BM's will make ur stay as fantastic as mine is going so far.

Im staying in drunken duck and guys there have puppy walked me from noob to handsum man in a few days LOL

Hope you have a great trip

Sure as hell not an expert but if I had a choice when to leave(I don't) I would avoid Dec15 threw about Jan 15th. If you decide to ignore this advise I'll be around the end of Dec if you want to meet up.

Look Tanaki. Heres the story. Go to Pattaya whenver you want. Its all good and the rooms have airconditioning. Whatever time of year you go it will be hot or feel hot, so whats the difference.

The money aspect can be sorted out after day 2. You will know what you have to spend and what you want to spend. Budget or send home for more. Its all so simple.

Any month is a good month to visit Pattaya. You'll have fun no matter what month you go. :drunk

That being said I prefer going during the slower months. Generally May - Oct. Not as crowded and one can usually find better deals on hotels. It is usually super hot during those months but I guess that's why there are less people around.

Always plenty of girls around to have fun with anytime of year. :tits:

Shouldnt you have asked this question before how much money and where to stay?

Anyway , unlike places with 4 seasons. its either rain or hot in pattaya. If too hot or its raining , its a good reason to stay a little longer in the bar. :drunk

If you don't like crowds avoid December and January. Forget April, too. You should get to know the city before you experience Songkran. :drunk Any other month is fine. November is probably the best month to come. Weather is great, it's not too crowded, and Loy Kratong is one of the best Thai holidays.

Personally I like February-March. Many two week millionaires have gone home. Weather is more then decent. Good time to be in Pattaya. :bow

  • 4 weeks later...

I'm really liking November. Little rain, not excessively hot, enough people to give most bars better atmosphere, but not overly crowded. Yep, November would be my choice...and there's Loy Khratong too.

I would say November and December possibly January are the coolest months, November this year was the coolest I have experienced. Have been in February and it is starting to heat up again. But in Pattaya, as it is costal it doesn't get so hot you are dying from heat but it is always in the 30's in the hotter months. Go inland at your pearl. Car themometer was readin 44 in Khon Kaen a few years back. I was dying!

Rainy season starts around March/April and will extend through to september/October and when it rains, boy does it rain. Couple of hours of solid heavy heavy rain. But like weather anywhere you cannot predict it. the rain is also not every single day.

I would say it depends where you are, and what references you use?

You use this. I prefer to use a rough rainfall guide for that particular area. You could even include November as well with only Dec/Jan/Feb being actually fairly dry months the rest have a considerable rain fall.

Rainfall in mm

Pattaya

Feb 14

March 52

April 67

May 177

June 79

July 77

You are referring to a general chart there and it various considerably throughout Thailand

Snap!

I remember 4 years, maybe 5 years ago getting cought down soi 6/1 with a lass I used to see. We were soaked from the bar and the water fights and the heavens opened, the rain was uttering bouncing off the streets as it does. The girl rufused to leave as she would get wet :D :chogdee

After 5 mins she was shacking like a dildo with new batteries she was that cold. Pissed with rain a couple of times that songkran actually.

Yes, like for example, if you're in Thailand, and your references are the Thai people and Thai statistics and the

Thai Meteorological Department, then the rainy season in Pattaya doesn't start in March.

It's just the way it is. Even though it sometimes rains more in April than in September in Central and/or East Thailand, April isn't the rainy season and September is. April is the hot season.

Another example: It might snow a blizzard and hit 20 below zero in Maine in October, but it's still autumn, not winter.
