Fon tuk mak mak. ..pissing rain in Pattaya

Recommended Posts

I thought the whole idea of Loy Krathong was it signalled the end of rainy season.

I left my baby in the room so I could go and take sun but it is pissing out of the heavens with no sign of a let up.

I feel sorry for the girls on the beach because not too many guys are going to bother getting soaked looking for pussy.

It's not heavy rain just constant.

..... and the first in the 3 weeks since I've been here. The consolation is watching the BBC and seeing the conditions in England again today!

Eat your heart out guys, in sihanoukville cambodia, the sun is shining, the beaches are lovely, the food is cheap and just visited the "chicken farm" where a boomsing is only $5. Back to pattaya in three days tho so I hope the rain stops. tell the beach road girls I will be there to relieve their cash shortage !!

Nothing whatsoever to do with the rainy season. :chogdee

Fon tuk mak mak

Seriously? It is not "pissing" and it is not "constant." It is a mild summer shower at best. I find it refreshing as it is warm and the sun is trying to peek through. Still better than being anywhere else I can think of.

Sorry about the large photo file size but this is a live update on the move on my smartphone.

I dont like guys suggesting that it is not raining when it clearly is.

Yes, It is a real downpour. Hope we don't have flooding. :gulp

Jack

Ha! No kidding. The idea that it is anything more than a shower is absurd!

An hour or two later and it is mostly sunny with things back to normal.

Sure it rained lightly for an hour or so, but it was certainly nothing to write home about!

The little bit of rain was welcome as it freshened the atmosphere.

Its now sunny as I guzzle a large Leo at coffee/beer bar in pattaya Tai.

Extortionate prices.

Just had a full English breakfast with 2 large Leos & yet to break 200B !

cheers rogero  :gulp

How does a guy as obsessively Baht conscious as you afford a smart phone? Seems like an extravagance. Almost as bad as ST for 1,500 Baht or flying business class. :llaugh :grin

you must have missed the memo jimmac.Dontcha is in love now and cashed up with lottery winning.Ignore all previous advice untill further notice. :chogdee

I've been stuck indoors due to the snow and ice for 3 days now. Food is running low and down to my last 64 bottles of whisky ;)

( I'm joking about the whisky).

When are u back for your 2 week bi-annual monger on Wanking st.

Hi Scaredy, hope you have got over that scarey WS

Never been to los for as short as 2 weeks, as you know. Are you scared of Bkk? Might be based Bkk for trips to PP and PI. What about a beer in Klong Toey. It would remind you of Stoke and the New Plaza , but might be too scarey for you :D

Thanks for the pics. BTW I like a good rain once in a while. It cleans the streets and lowers the temp for a while. As long as these storms blow themselves out in an hour or two, they're a good thing.

Well it managed to cloud over and threaten yesterday in the late afternoon......

Empty threats like the Ozzies at the Ashes.....

Bright, blue and breezy this morning, another beautiful day in paradise.
