Ah, a cyber warrior who insults people from behind the safety of his screen.   The problem with people like you is that you lack education. You are that stupid that you think calling a Pakistani man

And of course your avatar is perfectly acceptable. I suppose its 'only a laugh'. Make it more relevant and change it to Buddha or perhaps a central figure from the Quran, Muhammad for example. Hilari

Agree with MM   stop sidetracking this thread   And your previous avatar was much more offensive than calling anyone a chink You sir are the one who is uneducated and BTW I would say this to you

If anybody has a problem with it, they can say so and I'll change it no problem.

That's appreciating other peoples views and would accept it people found it offensive.

That's twice you have thrown about insults, the sign of a weak mind.

I have provided you with several definitions of the word chinky (and do more if you are struggling) and how it is racist and offensive, and you think that just because somebody posts 1 obscure photo and that British people are called Brits, that it isn't racist (not racialist as you used incorrectly).

I don't want to side track the thread and admit that some people just don't know that Chinky is considered racist and offensive, I was merely pointing it out and hoped that people would understand and accept that it isn't acceptable and refrain from using it in the future.

You wouldn't insult me to my face, so please don't do it from the safety of your bedroom.

I think your avatar is likely to offend Christians, and those sensitive to bad language, could you change it please.

You didn't think it was anti-Christian before you loaded it?

I am a Roman Catholic and it doesn't offend me.

How is it anti-Christian ?

I am happy to change it by all means, but if you read it properly you will see that it does not insult Christians or Jesus. Accepted about the cunt reference, but pardon me for thinking this was a forum devoted to paid sex by adults.

Don't even start on education pal, because you aren't even on the same page as me.

The difference is that I changed my avatar on request, whereas you are continuing to use the word chink despite me proving to you that it is a racist and offensive term.

Oh, and you might repeat it to me, but it wouldn't be wise.

Now I am respectfully asking you to refrain from the word Chink or Chinky as I find it offensive and derogatory. Then the thread can get back on track.

Regarding some BMs stating that the food can be a little bland. I dont think the chef adds salt in the cooking process so it is a case of season the food to taste.

I like the China Garden, good food, good service in pleasant surroundings at a reasonable enough price.

After eating Thai and Indian it will seem bland in comparison.

Sadly, there is a lack of decent Chinese restaurants in Thailand, so I'll have to give this a go on my upcoming trip.

Montydog is staying there as well, so jobs a goodun.

Love Chinese food must visit next time in Patts

Love Chinese girls also have had a few chinese girlfriends in the past

They are good in bed LOL

BTW Keen Punter do not question my education I am a University Graduate

OK But I am a farang but I dont take exception to that expression

Tilacno1

The Thai word 'farang' - Thai Language

Even if you can speak no other words of Thai, most European and American visitors to Thailand will quickly become familiar with the Thai word farang (often mispronounced (even by Thais) as falang - farang with a slightly trilled 'r' is the correct pronunciation.) It's basically used to describe caucasians, though African-Americans will sometimes also be known as farang or as farang dam ('black farang'). Farang is also the Thai word for the guava fruit, so you can expect to hear farang eating farang 'jokes' if you happen to purchase any.

Other Asians are generally known by their country of origin (e.g. kon jeen - "Chinese people", kon yee-bpun - "Japanese people"), while people from the Indian Subcontinent are often known as kairk (which translates as "guest"). Kairk is used to describe even fluent Thai speakers of Indian descent who have been living in Thailand for generations and consider themselves as Thai - obviously being referred to as a 'guest' in these circumstances, while not particularly offensive, is not exactly complimentary either.

Some people get very offended at being called farang, but whether it's an insult should or not really depends on the context. A few Thais who are uncomfortable with using it will say kon dtahng bpra-tayt ('people from other countries') instead, but this is still pretty rare. Farang is basically a neutral word, but people who respect you (or who should respect you) will not use it - if you hear a work colleague, for example, refer to you as farang they probably mean it as an insult while a taxi driver or market vendor doing the same is unlikely to mean any offense at all.

I’m staying here at the moment Jacuzzi room, an absolute bargain at 100thb a night. I move to the smaller room on the 17th but after having a look in one they still seem VFM at 650thb.

Me and KP ate there last night and both enjoyed our meals we both struggled to finish a starter and a main as the portion sizes are quite generous I doubt I could do a 3 course meal there without starving my self during the day. The food was very good and tasty, though I had a bit of a wait from my egg fried rice arriving to the Crispy chilli beef. They were quite busy with orders coming out all at the same time though and it’s a minor complaint in Thailand. The wine was also very drinkable at not to silly a price.

All in all a thumbs up from me and will certainly eat there again.

okay our review of China Garden

the place is easy to find a short walk from second road , the dining surroundings are ambient and comfortable,

the Menu is massive and varied.

Drinks prices for a Resturant of this nature are excellent and superb value.

Our drinks were served icy cold they gave the beer bottles a full zip cooler and your glass was frosty chilled---- perfect.

House Wine okay tasted like a cask wine but good value

As we are still seeking a good chinese resturant this due to its reviews was a must visit.

However the food as in taste was far from a good chinese, though we would imagine it does rather well,

as portions are good and takeaways would seem to make this business sucessfull,

in our view the food really was typically a decent UK takeaway class.

First up a bowl of obviously mass packaged prawn crackers, it makes you wonder why they serve these fake crackers ,

when you can buy fast cook origional prawn crackers world wide ,they could cook up a huge batch as they keep for a week in a paper bag

so why do they need to provide an inferior product ?

We ordered Cripsy Duck as advertised with pancakes , oohhh here we go again ,

we received soggy microwaved duck with pancakes , the hoisin sauce was of poor quality , had a very diffintive spicy taste which was not in its favour,

The pancakes were inferior , thick and floury and looked as though they had been re heated in a wok,

as there were scorch marks on them even though they were served in a steam basket.

The duck was plentiful however, if youre going to advertise cripsy duck then their chefs need to learn how to cook it and serve it .

Pesronally serving that dish cold would have been far more acceptable, but FFS wheres the crispy bit

Followed that order with king prawns and cashew nuts with mixed vegetables , sauce was good,

vegetables consisted of sadly what tasted like either frozen carrots or stewed , soggy onion slices,

and red and green capsicums these were fresh, the cashew nuts were again way over cooked,

the king prawns, well not exactly, just regular 16/18, certainly not king prawns.

Decided not to venture further with the menu paid up and left.

Would we eat there again , sadly No , shame as this could have been a winner.

So overall nice resturant service OK, however our order was messed up and we had to re order second dish as waiter forgot.

Drinks very reasonable , a comfortable clean alternative, but do not expect authentic chinese food.

But if youre used to a better than average chinese takeway at home , then this place will suit your taste buds .

Will dream of the day Chinese Authentic Cuisine comes to town as an option to the great local cuisine

As Monty says, we ate there a couple of nights ago.

I had chicken satay to start and sweet and sour chicken balls for the main. Both were tasty, the wine was decent. Monty had chilli beef ribs which were very tasty and chilli beef and rice. A couple of bottles of water as well.

All in around 850 baht. It isn't gourmet, but then again this is Thailand. But I would recommend and would go again.

That dish has always intrigued me so how do they choose which ball is sweet or sour ?

and just how big do chicken balls get ? often see prawn balls advertised too, but Ive never caught a prawn boasting balls big enuff to cook

Somewhat disappointed by 'toad in the hole'.........

Disappointed by Scotch Woodcock.

Disgusted by head cheese.

How big is the bun containing a hot dog?

Where is the bunny in Welsh rabbit.

Keep on chewing those prairie oysters.
