I have yet to be affected by this although I hear it does happen. Thus far all gogo girls who I wished to barfine have been happy to go with me.

 

I don`t really see it as a problem as long as the girl(or mamasan) makes it clear once you show an interest,that she cannot go with customer.

 

However if the girl were to "string me along" for an hour or two and accept many ladydrinks only then to say she cannot go, well then I guess I may be a little pissed off!

Tonight we went on a bar crawl around LK Metro. We visited 5 gogos. Lots of guys were buying lady drinks, including me. How is a girl to know if the guy is buying her drinks for her company or as a prelude to asking her to go with him?

 

From what I could see, all the drinks bought were simply for the company of the lady.

I agree. I would rather have interaction, than the ladies sitting at the back of the bar. I have bought many lady drinks with no intention of barfining the lady, or while deciding if she is the one I want for the night. How she interacts helps with that decision. I consider it part of 4play. When the 4play isn't good, I figure starfish and know that I will be going to another place looking. I would not care for buying several drinks while playing with her, and then find out that she is a no go. A colored badge, or something of that sort is a good idea. I would like to know up front, that it is in bar only play.

I understand the frustration of investing in a girl with drinks, and then being knocked back. Been there done that and I used to have the same view as the OP.

 

However, I have a TG friend who is show girl at one of the big "Happy Group" agogos on WS who has convinced me otherwise. She contends that the lady drinks are for her company in the bar, period. The issue of whether she would go with the customer or not is separate. As MM pointed out above, she has no idea whether the punter is interested in BFing her or not.

 

I've concluded that the best way to resolve this is after one drink, ask the TG if she goes with customers. I might get a "no" right then and I can cut my losses. I might get a smile and a "yes", and I'll know I'm in. If responds with something non-commital, then I have to think about what I want to do... invest further or cut and run. I've made both choices, depending on the desirability of the girl.

 

I know that some of show girls (and non-show girls for that matter) are picky. Most are free to go with customers. However, with their salary and tips (and sponsor income), many don't need to deal with people they are uncomfortable with.

I see someone didn't like your response and dinged your rep but you answer is the correct one. I will give you a plus for a good response.

 

Buying a bargirl a drink is solely for her companionship at the bar. Her job is to make customers want to keep drinking in that bar.

 

Buying a bargirl a drink and barfining her are separate issues.

This shows the typical Difference from a Bar Owner/Local ex-pat and Tourist.

Remember MM,MOST on here are tourist 2,3,4 week millionaires.

So why on earth would a guy who only gets very limited time in Patts per year be happy to waste a night or half a night buying a BG drinks only to find out ,Solly I not go out of Bar with customer .

I think you should not worry to much about that. Seems to me it is not so frequent, and restricted to a few places.

 

• Everybody knows for years that Atlantic Bar is full of "no go girls"; same for the bar on the left on Walking Street side of Simon Complex, by example. In this kind of place you should feel that girls try to attract you to sit and have a drink at the bar, more than to have a drink with her.
   
  
• You have then places where you should not be surprised by a "No": FLB bar for red badge girls, Secret's bar for red lanyard girls, ... You can always try your luck, but you know at start that it will very probably be a "No".
   
  
• You have some Coyotes or aGogo girls who work here but only dance. My experience is that they often tell you that before siting next to you, or before a second LD. I still witness that previous WE at LD Showcase: I called a dancer for a LD and when, latter, I proposed her to get a second one she clearly informed me that she could accept a new LD and my company, but that she would not go with me (or any other customer). I knew that before, no surprise, but she was honest on this point.
   
  
• Similar category: girls who are very "choosy" (only go with young guys; only go with Japanese; ...). Same as before. They usually make that clear early. In fact they even often refuse the LD and to sit with me... Clear!
  

So take it easy. I always consider my first LD as the price for her company and the opportunity to know her a little more. It's usually enough to know if you want go further (BF?) or not. If you want keep her company in bar but have a doubt: Ask her! Easy and no risk; you are at Pattaya!

 

BTW don't forget that this "problem" is in both ways: a girl could be very upset if you keep her company 3 hours, pay her many LD, show her that you like her... but do not BF her at the end! . So if you are here to have fun but do not have the intension to BF the lady, make that clear with her early

 

I like to go watch ladies in agogos, but as I live in Pattaya, I very rarely BF there. I have some "friends" in these agogo who keep company with me and get LDs, but they know that they can go when they want, by example in case of a regular customer arriving. A small arrangement that make everybody happy.

The red/green badge system is an good idee. BUT even if a girl has a green badge and I have giving her a few drinks she can say no to me. It is better she say no in the bar then she gives me an bad experience in bed.

 

When I give a lady a drink I have not decided if I want to bf with her. Same with the lady, when she say yes to a drink she has not always decided if she wants to go with then guy who gives it.
