It's 100% more than the RG for 50% of the space and a view. I don't get it.

Location?

Further from WS.

Closer to the Mall........and I hazard to say easier to get to WS from.

Location? You can get nearly anywhere in Pattaya for ten baht from anywhere in the city. I'll take RG over this anytime. Sorry.

Sorry, to the OP, but you put your advert here so I suppose it's open to opinions... I watched the video and thought...hmm for the right price maybe I'll check it out next time I'm in town.... then I read the price, I've stayed in much bigger rooms with things like big jacuzzi tubs for much less. On top of the prices, you have to pay extra for the maid service. :o I agree with others, the RG has a lot to offer for less.

Again, sorry...

The condo is in View Talay 6 next to Central Festival Shopping Mall.

Approximately a 5-7 minutes, walking, from Soi Buk and 10 minutes (walking) from WS.

If you don't want to walk, baht buses are available 24 hours in front of the building to whisk you to WS in about two minutes:-)

Regarding the prices, compare them to Hilton (next door) or the Marriott (Royal Garden). Both run 3k++ per night for a SMALLER room, view(?), and zero kitchen facilities.

Bottom line: You're paying for a really nice room, GREAT location, with amenities.

I lived on the 26th floor from 2011-2013, facing Walking Street (so my view was not obstructed by the Hilton, see my avatar),and my rent was 24,000/month.

As I understand the dancewatcher site, this studio is 2200/night during Nov-May, and has no monthly rate or discount beyond that, so it works out to an eye-popping 66,000 baht a month! Add 6k for "deluxe" maid service where you get maid service 5 times a week, rather than once a week for 4K, and you're looking at a cool 72,000 baht/month.

Or, OP, did I misinterpret something here?

Looks about right to me. The question is, what is the occupancy rate?

For the last 3 years I have rented a studio very similar to the OP's place. All times I have rented from the front desk in VT6. Each time for 1-3 months for 26-27-28,000 a month with one free cleaning a week, internet included. For 66.000 a month you can get a one bedroom walking street side plus daily cleaning. Way overpriced.

Well booked up I see , if people are happy with the product and can we afford it then it's called choice ,

Yes. Good for the OP. At those prices maybe I should invest In a unit or 5 :)
