Renting and buying, shop around. There seems to be 2 levels of pricing out there. Reasonable deals to be had and people asking silly money. Some of the newer condos are expensive.... and condemn you to a life of struggling to park and a sea-view that got built in front of. If a 4.5 million condo is 20k/month to rent, I would rent. At my age better to keep the capital than invest in a market that surely is heading to saturation or a downfall.

I haven't tried myself but have known people get IPhones from Hong Kong and have them shipped here.

A family member currently rents a flat in the UK for the equivalent of over 21,000, in Northern England,surely further south it would be more.If the monthly budget already has 'wine, women and song' covered, I say spend it on accommodation. I would find it depressing to be living in a cheap little shoe-box place. Each to their own....
